Trap:

Mason slammed the gas pedal into the floor of the car. His grip tightened on the steering wheel as his eyes narrowed in on the gate. They were so close. He glanced in the rearview mirror trying to get a glimpse of Samuel. As he was looking in the back he was suddenly blinded by lights. Mason's head hit the side of the driver’s window. The airbag smashing him in the face. He heard Laura let out a yell as he tried to figure out what was happening. Mason ping pong off the driver side door as the car slammed into a tree. Headlights from another vehicle peered into the car blinding them. Mason felt warm liquid running down the side of his face. His wolf pushed forward trying to help clear the cloudiness of the situation. Mason’s claws descended and he popped the air bag. The ring in his ears was making it hard to focus.

“Laura.” He choked out as the smoke from the air bag filled his lungs.
