It was when the officiant took his name Serena knew she was getting married to a replaced groom whom she never met before. "You lied to me! I'm someone else's wife, you…", as soon as Denzel heard her saying it blood rushed to his veins. Squeezing her cheeks he looked into her eyes angrily,"Since the moment we got married you belong to me, you are mine so don't ever say that again if you don't want this night to be our first night!" Denzel Anderson, a cold-blooded mafia. He chose to marry her for his plan but when he was going to let go, he caged her in his own cave. She became his possession, his obsession and the reason for his death but he never intended to let her go even if he was to die.
Lihat lebih banyakEveryday was the same for her, nothing less, nothing more, no differences. She was in the night club again, drowning herself in addiction to drinks.
"Hey beautiful, do you want me to accompany you? This night won't feel so lonely, let me accompany you." Serena was sitting alone on the sofa at the nightclub when a guy came to her and soon he put his hand on her waist, meaning something else. She was drunk to the hell but not blind and unconscious.
"F*ck off!" She looked at him angrily as if she was going to punch him.
Laughing, he pulled her closer. Serena touched his hand, as he thought she was going to cooperate. She squeezed his hand behind his back and pushed him away with all her strength. She was about to punch him, the way she was looking at him said so. Getting scared by her glance at him he didn't dare to say anything let alone touching her.
When she came to the nightclub for the first time she didn't know how to save herself from the bad guys but soon she became bold. She not only knew how to protect herself but she also knew how to save others. She was going to get married to a man whom her uncle and aunty chose for her. You can say she was sold to him, in order to get money they sold her to him and he as a gentleman gave them a huge amount of money.
She didn't have a grudge against her husband but she prayed that he wouldn't marry her. How good he was as a man that just because he loves her he agreed to pay them and marry her instead. But did she want it? She never wanted to marry him nor did she feel like he was a good man. Strange it was!
She was beautiful, it's true but she was not rich. Her uncle and aunty were very greedy so they didn't spend a single penny on her for her studies so she had completed her graduation secretly and soon they fixed her engagement with one of the boys who had a crush on her. Since then she chose to live like it was her last day. Getting drunk, going to nightclubs and sometimes stealing money from those handsome men who wanted her as their food on the bed. She never wanted to steal but she didn't have another choice.
Taking her purse, she walked towards the exit when her legs were trembling. A zig Zag, she put her high heels off and taking them in her hand she got in a taxi and shot herself with a lot of weird dreams. What did she do? Did she kill someone? Was she a sinner? Why was she getting punished for what she never did?
Since her parents died, nobody showed her sincerity, she was pathetic but strong. She kept making herself stronger… but by marriage, she would be happy to be a nun but not someone's wife and at the end bear a lot of kids. They were never in her to-do list or wish.
"Miss, we're here," said the driver. Serena smiled like a stupid and pulled herself together to got out of the car.
She cried out stupidly. "Thanks a lotttt, bro. Good night…" she said, smiling drunkenly.
Then she pushed the gate of her house forcefully. As the gate opened she kissed it, still smiling like a stupid. "You! Also… good night to you, bro…"
With her trembling legs, she managed to walk in the house. As soon as she walked in the living room, she heard her Aunt's harsh voice.
"Oh, our Cinderella finally came back. Please bring a glass of honey water, honey."
Every night, Serena would come back late at night and her aunt would say the same thing, pretentious care. She didn't need it.
Pushing her away she walked to the staircase when her Aunt held her hand.
"Where are you going? Stay here!"
"I am going to my room. Is that… clear?"
Getting angry at her, her Aunt walked upstairs and held her hand roughly then she pulled her hand and walked downstairs. "Do you take us as your servant? Everyday you vomit and we have to wash it for you. Instead of being grateful to us you just want to create more problems for us! What a brat!"
Ignoring them completely, she walked upstairs again but her Aunt pulled her hand so forcefully that she ended up hitting her head on the corner of the stairs.
"How can you be so arrogant? Day by day you are getting more shameless! Who knows how many men you slept with till now! You're lucky that Mr. Mathew still wants to marry you."
Her aunt never liked her. They tortured her only, and Serena never went against them but it was enough. They couldn't possibly hurt her all the time. She had to fight back.
Serena got up, trying to pull herself together. As she was drunk she was not in the position to fight back but they were starting it. Serena took the glass of honey water from the plate her Uncle made for her, she drank it one time ago. She was silent for a minute then she sat on the couch comfortably, like a queen. She let out in a cold tone. "Of Course, you are my servant. If not serving me what else do you think you are capable of doing?"
"You! How dare you…" When her Aunt was walking towards her with a fist, she interrupted her.
"If you dare hit me I'll have my own way to kick you out of this house! I'm sleepy so stop your stupid nonsense and clean up everything. Good night."
With her trembling legs, Serena managed to get into her room. It was a little room, a single bed, a little teddy and some of her clothes in an old, small wardrobe. A messy room but she could find peace in her room, what else did she had? Nothing. No parents, no friends, no relatives who cared for her. Even though most of her clothes were old and ragged, stealing got her money to drink but nothing else.
She didn't buy any clothes with the money she stole. She could see her life was becoming a living hell, not becoming but it was already. Was there anything that could make her desire for her life? She didn't want to live like that either, she thought she was just a burden for her parents that's why they left her alone in the world and they themselves went to live in paradise.
Resting her head on the bed and sitting on the floor, she looked at the old fan on the roof. Tears started rolling down her eyes, she had no words to utter but the pain in her heart was finding its own way to express itself. Tomorrow. She is going to marry a man tomorrow. Would everything change? Or it'd be worse? She was prepared for everything… The pain, then turned into a way of letting her fall asleep. Her world darkened soon as her eyes closed with tears in them.

"Boss, he still didn't utter a single word. I heard he's going to marry a girl tomorrow. What should we do?" A man in a black suit asked another man who was sitting on the armchair comfortably with a magazine over his eyes.
He didn't move but said, "Send his death news to the girl's family, and his relatives. Nobody except them should know about it, including the girl… she must not know it. Get it?"
The man in the black suit nodded his head. "Got it, boss." And left.
The man who was sitting on the armchair got up and went downstairs. As soon as he went downstairs all the servants gathered, waiting for his order. "Mrs. Fiana, I am giving you all the responsibilities. I believe you won't disappoint me."
He had both of his hands in his pocket when he spoke in a cold tone.
"Thank you, Sir. I've already explained everything to them, there won't be any mistakes. Please rest assured," said Mrs. Fiana when all the servants had their eyes on the ground. She saw him growing up, though he was a cold hearted man but he never treated anybody badly.
He talked less, he was demanding, a picky eater but he was a good person. Mrs. Fiana had been working in the mansion for many years and she wanted to work there until she would die.
"Great then." He then walked upstairs and everything let out a sigh of relief.
Whenever they saw their boss they felt like they were reporting to the police. One mistake and they'd be behind the jail.
Only Mrs. Fiana would have her eyes straight while talking to him, the rest were kind of scared of him.
"Get up!" Denzel grabbed his hand and twisted it. "Get up! Why don't you?" He shouted out louder, telling him to get up.Mike was screaming in pain, he moved to his left and barely could breathe. "I said get up!" Denzel kicked him on his abdomen hard angrily. Today he would not mind beating him to death. Denzel kicked him again."Denzel, no...." Denzel was about to kick him again when Richard ran to him. "Stop it. You will kill him!""I want to beat this bastard to death today! He dared to torment Serena. Do you know what he did? He... He tormented her several ways, she had scars because of this... This bastard." With that Denzel kicked him again, blood oozed out of his mouth."I know, I know what he did. But remember what you want. You don't want to kill him at once, remember. If you keep beating him like this, he will die." Richard stopped him somehow and tried dragging him out of there. Mike
"Mr. Denzel..." Nia got into his cabin without knocking as she had some files in her hand.As she got in she saw Serena, where was Denzel? "Ohh you...." She put the files on the table."Not you, call me ma'am." Serena shot her a cold gaze while sitting on the chair that Denzel sits usually."Ma'am? Why should I?""Why should I?" Serena was a bit surprised to see her guys but never mind. She came here today to deal with people like her."Get all the files from the table," Serena ordered her in an authoritative tone but Nia stood still. "Guess you are deaf.""What? How dare you call me deaf? Boss has so many things to do today, why did you come here? I heard you left him because you disliked him, now you came back. Are you sort of money? That's why you came back?" Wow, Serena wanted to laugh louder. She moved her eyes from the computer s
"Mommy, are you okay?" Enna ran to Serena as she was worried. "Hmm, I am ok. Baby."Serena was sitting on the couch when Nia went there. The first she saw Serena sit on the couch with a little girl lying on her lap."This..." She asked Denzel as she was curious, it seemed that way. But she knew it was Serena, how could she not know when she saw her photo before?"What are you doing here?"Serena was waiting for Denzel to tell her that she was his wife but unfortunately he did not answer her and it made Serena angry. 'Why did not he tell her that I am his wife?'"Ohh, it's about tomorrow's project.""You could call me.""Sorry, it could not be solved through the phone call." Nia seemed to be innocent-minded. Denzel let it slide and she sat next to him when they were working together.Serena sat on the
"Mr. Denzel, you wanted this information." Walking in his cabin Nia put a blue file on the table. Denzel was staring at the sky, silent. This man, the first time she saw was when he was lying on the sofa while having a wine glass in his hand. He looked like a lost child who was crying and looked so helpless. She did not know that she would be able to see him coming back to his cabin sober-mindedly. Before he used to come back to his cabin all drunk. It was kind of a miracle to see him back to his previous position."Ok, you can go now." Nia was still observing him when he told her to leave. With a bow, she left his cabin. As she left he quickly ran to the table and opened the file. It had all the details that could clear all his questions.**"Mommy, wake up." Enna's little hand was pulled, Serena. She was still sleeping. "Mommy, tie my hair." She pulled her hand again.
Six months LaterAt a nightclubEverybody in the club was busy swaying their body with the music, some were drinking when some were flirting with the opposite gender. Most of them were drunk, not caring what the world would say or if they would still be alive the next day. They were carefree from all the worries, they were looking for only pleasure but not pain.Nobody cared who was sad and who was happy there, everybody was busy searching for their happiness themselves. But Denzel Anderson was sad, not drunk, and still drinking what if he could be drunk and forget the pain in his heart. This nightclub has become his favorite one for five months since he first came here. Nobody disturbed him here, he found another level of peace here. As the car stopped Serena was about to get down but Denzel held her hand. Turning back to him she glared at him."Sit still here." Saying that he got off and she sat still with a confused look."Now, come." But then Denzel opened the door for her. With a smile, Serena got off and hugged him. "Are you going to do this forever?""Yes, my queen." He whispered in her ear with a soft chuckle. As Richard coughed she glared at them. "Wait, that time I did not ask. Maybe I saw them but who are they?""This is Richard and this is George. They are my buddies and so my right hand and left hand." Denzel introduced them to her. Serena nodded her head, but suddenly she remembered what she saw a day ago in the morning."You guys, turn around." Both Richard George glared at Denzel. "Eh?"Serena walked to them and said again, "Turn around.""Sister-in-law
