*Kaden's POV*

"Wow you're enjoying yourself." Adler chuckled loudly as soon as she practically ran out of the room, and even continued after she had finally disappeared down the corridor..

At first I paid no attention to him but simply watched her run until I could no longer see her. I immediately turned to give him the stink eye.

“You’re not going to try explaining the scene I was met with when I walked in here?” He asked cockily, and I rolled my eyes as I leaned on the door.

“No.” I deadpanned.

I saw the suggestive grin on his face, one that I really wanted to wipe off, but I said nothing about it. I knew him well enough to know that talking to him about it would mean an extremity of extreme teasing.

I suddenly remembered how close she had been against me and the way her sweet feminine fragrance had assaulted my senses.
