SAMANTHA tried to relax her breathing. Her face was very sweaty. Her shirt was soaked and wet. She was doing the routine for almost two hours now in the gym. Her conversation with her mother over the phone does not offer any satisfactory explanation.

She remembered their conversation and the last word Divina had said is she could not remember the name. She never knew a man named Franco Sevilla. That she had a lot of male friends during her youth. Maybe the picture was taken as a souvenir by one among her admirer that she could not recall the name now.

What Divina had said doesn’t have sense at all. Samantha had a feeling that her mother was lying. First the photograph was very intimate. Second, she also had some friends before and until now and she could still recall their names. Third, Divina was avoiding the topic and tried to divert their conversation and no matter how she asked about Franco Sevilla, Divina swayed away the conversation until she hang the phone.
