A Mother’s bond. “Aida?” Brennan comes running in just as Emmett swiftly steps away from the bed. “Where are you going?”“I’m not good with vomit.”“Whimp. A King mate’s fury. I manage to finish my presentation even with her cold judging eyes watching me. It takes a lot of my inner strength to keep my eyes moving amongst all guests. The new normal. “Get some sleep.” Lorrel says as she takes both babies off me. I had been stitched and told that I now couldn’t leave bed until at least lunch time. Leona was born at 12.02am, it would seem she wanted her own birthday after all. I would be forever be indebted to Brennan and Colette for all that they have done. Just as I start to drift off the door opens and her scent enters. My wolf, who was tired but she is more present now that we are no longer pregnant, growls as Felicity walks over to Leona. Gone back in her word. Trying to organise a moon blessing with a few hour’s notice wasn’t the easiest. Luckily the babies could be asleep under the night’s sky as the moon’s glow blessed them for their future to come.
