"Why did the CCTV suddenly break down?!" Elena's voice echoed in the quiet teachers' room.

An IT staff member at the school looked down nervously. "I don't know either, Miss Elena. Everything was working normally this morning. But this afternoon, the gate footage suddenly became unreadable. It seems to be a system error."

"System error?" Elena sighed in frustration. "So the only clue about who took my child is gone?"

Alva's teacher tried to calm Elena down, "We're truly sorry, Ms. Elena. But we think that man was sent by Ms. Elena to pick up Alva."

With a pale face, Elena ran out of the teachers' room. Her hands trembled as she pulled her phone out of her bag. Elena immediately called Tamara's number.

"Tamara! Listen to me carefully. Alva... Alva is missing. Alva has been kidnapped," Elena's voice trembled, almost out of breath.
