Chapter 33

Riley was in her room reading a book. She woke up early today so she could prepare breakfast and ran back to her room before he would wake up. So she just placed his food on the dining table covering it. Taking her food she walked back to her room and locked the door.

She heard when his door opened but there were no footsteps. Sometimes it creeped her out how soundless he walks.

Not two minutes later she heard a knock on her door. "You okay?" His voice reached her ears.

Why was he asking her this? Didn't he know what they did last night? Her cheeks inflamed even by recalling it.

"Yes." She said loud enough for him to hear. "I see." Was all he said as he left from there. She knew he must be smirking out there, knowing why she didn't want to face him.

After breakfast she stayed in the room reading the book she found from the bookshelf in the hall. There were no electrical gadgets in her room so the book was helping the boredom.
