A painful moan left her lips when she felt an immense pounding in her head. Her body felt drained, even her fingers weighed like tons, she couldn't move them. She can not even open her eyes no matter how much she tries.
And just like that, she drifts into darkness again. The next time she woke up, she could feel her hand in a warm hold. This time Riley forced her eyes to open as she blinked and swallowed the groan of pain that erupted because of the slightest movement of her head.
