Axel`s POV

“Pet FOOD?” Cade asked again before he burst out laughing his heart out.

Axel scowled, now regretting having called in his second in command.

He only stopped laughing upon hearing Axel`s annoyed growl echo as they sat in his home office back at his Mansion after work.

“Sorry boss, so all I have to do is let Cole out and hope Damon will let him follow.” Cade finally said now serious. Axel nodded.

Just like their odd friendship in real life while having totally opposite personalities, it was the same for their wolves.

Cade`s wolf Cole was the only wolf that Damon never snapped at. It was like he considered the brown wolf his little annoying sibling. But there was trust too, from sharing a traumatic childhood together.

“Easy peasy, just say the word and I will be ready,” Cade replied, playfully spinning the chair he sat on around.
