Usually, Saturdays were one of the liveliest days in our house. We barely ever went to work on weekends, giving us a rare chance to just be a family. I’d spend the morning on the floor with Finn, building impossible towers out of blocks, while the smell of Lena’s breakfast filled the halls. Almost everyone stayed home unless someone had to run an errand or the kids wanted to hang out with friends. It was our sanctuary.

But this Saturday was different. The house was quiet, but it wasn't a peacef

  • The Rogue Luna's Secret    Unveiling the Plan

On Monday morning, the entire courtyard of the Voss Pack was buzzing with nervous energy. It was finally the day for the recruitment and training sessions to begin.Getting to this point had not been easy for Serena. She had to go through a massive, shouting fight with her parents to convince them that she was old enough to make her own choices. It was a heated argument, but somehow, her dad finally relented. He actually gave her his blessing and even spent hours convincing her terrified mother to let her go. Of course, that only happened after they made Serena promise over and over that she would stay completely safe. The arena was totally packed with pack members trying out for different roles. A lot of people brought their families and loved ones along for emotional support, making the area feel like a mix of high stakes and warm family comfort. As the Alpha and Beta, Ronan and Jax were the main ones in charge of organizing the whole event. As usual, Serena walked into the arena al

  • The Rogue Luna's Secret    Kitchen Talks

Liora's POV "Food can never go wrong with Lena," Theo said, his voice a little muffled because his mouth was completely full of fluffy pancakes. He looked like he hadn't eaten in a week, his fork working overtime to shovel more eggs onto his plate."Hey, I also helped make this breakfast!" Marcus said, feigning hurt. He dramatically clapped a hand over his chest like he had just been wrongly accused of a crime. "The total lack of respect in this house is truly historical.""That's true, Marcus did help out," I said to defend him, smiling as I passed the maple syrup down the table. "He actually didn't burn a single piece of toast this morning. Well, almost none."Lena set down a fresh pitcher of orange juice and laughed. "Marcus always helps out whenever he can. He’s actually a very good assistant chef when he isn't trying to change my secret recipes.”The morning teasing and banter continued naturally. The dining room was full of the warm sounds of clinking forks and happy laughter.

  • The Rogue Luna's Secret    A New Recipe

Liora's POV We all went in through the back door, trailing dirt and grass into the house. Everyone split up immediately to wash the sweat off after the rough training session. I walked upstairs carrying Finn, who was still pouting about his time on the log. His little arms were wrapped tightly around my neck, his small thumb tucked into his mouth as he let out a loud yawn."Thorne is a big bully," Finn mumbled against my shoulder, his eyelids drooping. "He made my paws heavy.""He's just trying to help you stay strong, buddy," I said, giving him a gentle squeeze as I carried him into his room.I helped him get out of his dirt-stained clothes, which were covered in grass and bark. After wiping him down, I picked out a clean, comfortable blue t-shirt and some shorts. Getting his little arms through the sleeves was a bit of a struggle since he was half-asleep, but we managed. Once he was decently dressed and playing with a little toy truck on his bed, I finally headed back downstairs.

  • The Rogue Luna's Secret    New Place

Liora's POV "I'm so glad Thorne once suggested we get this new property," I said, ducking just in time as Elias's fist moved past my ear. "Though we didn't buy it for hiding purposes, yet here we are.""I know, right?" Elias replied, twisting his body sharply to dodge my immediate sneak counter-attack. I tried to kick his ribs, but he stepped back onto the wet grass with a laugh. "So much for a vacation home. Who could have thought we'd end up hiding out here and starting up a brand new life?"Ever since we ran away from Oakhaven to get off Victor’s radar, working out before sunrise had become our top priority. We knew firsthand how cruel this world could be to the weak, so the least we could do was ensure we got stronger."Marcus is a total genius for even thinking about buying this house anonymously," I said, wiping sweat from my forehead with the back of my arm."He always has been," Theo chimed in from across the lawn. No doubt Marcus has always been his favorite.Theo was finis

Serena sat frozen in her chair. The dark berry juice pooled across the wood, dripping slowly off the edge of the table, but she didn't even notice. She was too afraid to even turn around and face her mother.Isolde reached across the table, her face was calm as she gave Serena's hand a small squeeze for encouragement. That little touch gave Serena just enough strength to move. She slowly turned her head to face her mother.Serena slowly stood up from her chair, her hands shaking slightly against her yellow dress. "Mom, please. I can explain everything.""So it is true," Elera said, her face tight with shock as she stared at her daughter. "You really want to join the new recruitment. Wait, what position are you even vying for, Serena?"Serena looked around the quiet cafe to make sure no other pack members were listening. She dropped her voice into a very low whisper. She didn't want people to know exactly what she was up to until the official training started. "As Jax's assistant," she

The heavy wooden practice sword was about hitting her. Serena spun fast on her feet and swung the blade. She blocked Calvin’s incoming attack with a loud crack. The force of the hit did not knock her back this time. She held her ground firmly, breathing fast but keeping total control. It was Saturday morning, and the hard work she had put in all week was finally showing. Her movements were not clumsy anymore. She was much better with the wooden swords, her speed had increased, and she felt a lot stronger. Her hands were covered in tiny blisters, but her determination didn't waver one bit. Isolde stood by the wooden fence, watching the final drills with a surprised look. A genuine smile formed on her lips as she watched Serena dodge a quick swipe from Calvin and land a clean tap right against his shoulder padding."Time!" Calvin called out, stepping back and lowering his weapon. He wiped his forehead with his sleeve and gave Serena a nod of pure respect. "That is enough for today. Yo
