POV Joann I was relieved the meeting was over, although what Miss Evens had said was unsettling. I was nervous for Eric, I know what Aiden was thinking but have admit I was not ready for Eric to volunteer to go speak with Alpha Donte. Five years laterPOV Thea The first few months after Alpha Eric went missing dragged on. The Alpha and Luna search Alpha Donte’s manor a hundred times. Sending scouts to patrol the grounds for over a year but nothing but one family coming back from vacation was ever found. The lycans didn’t return. Eric and them seemed to vanish. The Alpha and Luna had hope that he was still out there. His connection to the pack had never been severed. So he is alive out there somewhere. Eventually Alpha Aiden blamed himself, believing that Eric chose not to come back because he was so hard on him.
