Synopsis

สายตาคมกริบของลุงคนสวนวัยสี่สิบปีมีนามว่า ‘ลุงโทน’ จับจ้องมองเรือนร่างระหงของ ‘ชมจันทร์’ คุณหนูลูกสาวเจ้าของบ้านเดี่ยวสามชั้นหลังใหญ่มหึมาที่ตัวเองถูกจ้างให้มาตัดหญ้า

อันที่จริง…

ลุงโทนไม่ได้เป็นคนสวนที่ทำงานประจำอยู่ในบ้านหลังนี้ แต่จะมาตัดหญ้าที่บ้านหลังนี้สัปดาห์ละครั้งและดูแลไม่ให้ต้นไม้ใบหญ้าขึ้นรกตามสัญญาว่าจ้างระยะสั้นที่เสี่ย ‘พิชัย’ บิดาของชมจันทร์จ้างต่อมาจากบริษัทรับดูแลทำความสะอาดบ้านแห่งหนึ่ง 

ลุงโทนมักจะแอบมองหญิงสาววัยสิบเก้าปีที่กำลังนอนอ่านหนังสืออยู่ที่สนามหญ้าหลังบ้าน อยู่ติดกับลำคลองอัมพวา รอบๆ บ้านโอบล้อมไว้ด้วยต้นไม้ร่มรื่นเขียวขจี

“สวัสดีครับคุณหนู… ”

ลุงโทนกล่าวทักทายสาวน้อยเมื่อเดินเข้ามาใกล้ บนบ่าบึกบึนสะพายเครื่องตัดหญ้า เพราะวันนี้ตั้งใจว่าจะมาตัดหญ้าที่ริมคลองหลังบ้าน โดยที่ไม่รู้ล่วงหน้ามาก่อนว่าวันนี้คุณหนูชมจันทร์จะมานอนอ่านหนังสืออยู่ตรงนี้

ช่างบังเอิญ…

“สวัสดีค่ะลุงโทนมาตัดหญ้าหรือคะ… ”

หญิงสาวละสายตาจากหน้าหนังสือที่กำลังอ่าน เหลียวหลังกลับมายังที่มาของเสียง

พลันสายตาปะทะเข้ากับร่างเรือนร่างสูงใหญ่กำยำไปด้วยมัดกล้ามของลุงโทนและแผงอกนูนแน่นไปด้วยมัดเนื้อ มีเส้นขนสีดำเป็นแพแผ่กระจายไปทั่วอกทั้งสองข้าง

ที่เห็นชัดก็เพราะว่าลุงโทนเปลือยอกไม่สวมเสื้อ ช่วงล่างสวมเอาไว้แค่เพียงกางเกงผ้าร่มขาสั้นบางๆ

“ครับผมกำลังจะมาตัดหญ้า… ”

ลุงโทนตอบ…

ตอนนั้นกางเกงขาสั้นของลุงโทนชื้นเหงื่อทำให้ผ้าบางแนบไปกับกึ่งกลางกายและต้นขากำยำ เน้นให้เห็นบางอย่างซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความเป็นชายตุงแน่นเป็นลำยาวอยู่ใต้ร่มผ้า
