SKYLAR Julian made a few phone calls, and it wasn’t long before someone he seemed to know turned up to drive my Berkeley back to the castle while Julian took me back on his bike. It surprised me at how good it felt to be on the bike, at how free it made me feel. Even though I had been travelling for weeks, I hadn't really realised that I had stayed so close to the castle and to Julian. It only took us a couple of days to return on the bike. ROMEO Before I can decide anything, the compulsion running through me takes hold and takes over. With a new goal embedded in my mind, I make my way silently through the corridors, making my way toward the human with the surface passkey. I come up behind the first human.
