My hands hovered over my phone as I packed my car inside of Saela's driveway and began walking hastily towards the house without even waiting for her to get down.

I was angry. That was a fact.

Why? That was unsettled yet.

“Torren, wait up.” Saela called out and I turned to find her racing towards me. I had been walking too fast, too fast that I had actually forgotten she was behind me.

“Walk faster.” I called out and she broke into a run and when she got closer to me, she was sulking.

“What is it? What's with the face?” I queried, I didn't have time for this. I just wanted blood wrapped around my fist, all I wanted to do was lodge my hands into a freaking wall.

“Nothing. It's just that you aren't as caring and soft as you were before. It's as though you're taking out your angers on me when I did nothing.” Saela pouted and I bit my lips hard. Hard enough to draw me back to the present and reality.
