Chapter 3

I was afraid when I wakened to found out that I was lashed to the chair. My hands were on my back, hardly tied up while my feet were tied on the seat's poles.

"What's going on?" I thought, but I was perplexed as I noticed that I was inside my room. Then a minute later I could hear a voice coming from the outside, there were too many voices, "Who are they?"... I wanted to shout for help but there was something in my mouth. I was sweating as I tried to moved and make a noise, but I stopped and shrieked... whoever did this was smart, he even tied the chair to my bed, making it secure, making it sure I won't make any sounds, making sure that I wouldn't do anything that not appropriate to his likings. " Who are you?" I thought.

"Is it that man?" I  thought then I started to tremble, my eyes expanded and I couldn't breathe normally.

"Come on, Ash, relax," I murmured as I breathed in and out. I was afraid and gasping some air, but the thing inside my mouth made me harder to breathe even more. I was like breathing through my ears, hard to explain it.

I was panicking, "What is going on?" I tried hard enough to recall what happened but  I could only remember that I fainted in school and after that, I didn't know what happened next.

"Yeah, I was in school," I was confused.

But the suspicion is, how did I end up here?

Voices were still downstairs and I was here, all tied up. "Can somebody help me?" I spoke ones' mind, "Please, enter my room," I was praying for my life, trembling as I thought of perishing.

"No, I can not just die like this," I teared up.

I was afraid but somehow I was waiting to see the man who kept sending me gifts, I wanted to see his face... until I could hear some footsteps coming nearer and nearer... My heart was thumping too fast.

"What is this strange feeling?" I thought.

...and nearer... I was catching my breath, I never been scared like this before.  I couldn't think clearly, the fear was treacherous for my mind for me to concentrate and calm down.

...and nearer...

**Click...Click**

I could hear my heavy breathing as I heard the doorknob's noise.

I stared at the door... I never looked away and I was waiting for someone to pop out from that door.

I gulped, 'Who are you?" I thought of fury and nervousness. I was still trembling as I watched the doorknob turning its head.

**Click...click...click...**

When the door was slightly opened, I prepared myself. I was nervous, afraid and I was having a mixture of feelings, it was a strange feeling, it was too strong.

I was wondering who might come out of that door? Am I going to be surprised? Is he was someone I knew or just a stranger? Did I meet him already?

I was afraid of my own question, but what I needed more is the braveness to survive. If I survived, I could finally avenge Dravo's death once I saw who he was. I would surely escape and hunt him to death, I would also break his face and I will leave no brain and skull, I would let him suffer what Dravo tolerated in his hands. My lips trembled in desperation, "Show yourself," I whispered.

My brows were trembling as well as I bit the clothe in my mouth, "Come out, you bitch! Show yourself," I kept thinking, narrowing my eyes on the door even more.

"Come out now, please," I whispered.

The door created a creepy squeak while the man was slowly pushing it.

"Come out, come out. Let me see who you are," I was whispering yet I was still afraid, of course, who would be happy to be here? Praying for life and not death.

I was sharpening my eyes on that door's entrance as I gritted my teeth again, I was profusely sweating, and then I saw his feet first.

I looked down, and how I wished and I didn't look down to see whose feet it was.

"What?" I thought when I saw the feet, I couldn't believe whose feet it was... I knew who it was. I shuddered and thought, "Is this real? No, it's impossible, that person was Dravo's killer? I was confused and when I lifted up my head to see that person's face. I wanted to make sure that my hypothesis was right, it was that person, but then I heard a whisper.

"Are you okay?" a voice said, then I was even more confused.

"Amanda?" I said and I heard her answered, "Yes, are you okay?" she repeated.

"Am I okay?" I thought and I opened my eyes when I came to the realization that I was just dreaming.

"Amanda?" I whispered too fast that she nearly didn't understand what I said.

"Are you okay? You were talking while sleeping," she said.

"Yeah, I was just dreaming..." I paused and I looked at her eyes,

"Dreaming?" she asked and I was silent for seconds.

"Ash? What happened? You're trembling, for goodness sake," she asked and I shook my head, "Nothing, Amanda, never mind. It was just a bad dream," I responded, I was still trembling but I was glad it was just a dream because it was impossible that, a sigh... that, that person was the killer, that was entirely impossible. I would never accept it.

"What happened?" I asked when I noticed that I was in our school's clinic, but before she explained to me I remembered everything. And at that moment I forgot about that dream and cried in pain. My life was not happy anymore. It turned out to be horrible and suffocating.

"How could they fear me?" I asked and cried, then, Amanda hugged me and patted my back.

"I also didn't want everything to happen, Amanda," I sobbed, she teared up.

"Everything is gonna be alright, Ash, just rest and ignore what happened today, okay?" she said and I leaned my head on her shoulder.

"Thank you, Amanda, thank you for being here," I said.

"I told you, I will always protect you," she mumbled.

I glanced at her, and my eyes rolled down on her nameplate, it was a weird name for me, though my name also sounds like a dude's name but at least mine could also fit for girls..."Nice name you have there, Richard," Mr. Kenneth whispered and the woman chuckled. "So he also notices her nameplate?" I thought. The woman smiled and answered, "Oh, my name is not Richard, actually, hmmm..." she coughed, "I'm new here, and I'm just using my trainer's nameplate, temporarily," she added."Now it does makes sense."Mr. Kenneth chuckled and actually, I never thought of having a snack with this guy.
