The party was over and it was time to head home. The sound of my Cullen's cousin's laughter echoed in my mind as I began to make my way towards the door.
He was charming, young, and handsome, and I couldn't help but feel a spark of attraction towards him.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought someone could trigger the spark Drew made me feel, could this be what I'm thinking? Or it's still too early to decide that?
I knew I had to slow down with these thoughts..
I couldn't wait to get home and shower, the thought of his smile lingering in my mind as I stood in the shower reminiscing about the brief moments we shared at the party.
Even though Evie kept cutting in, I couldn't help the way he made me feel just by taking a brief glance at me.
I walked majestically towards Evie, swaying my hips from side to side just to get enough attention from Drew, my husband's cousin who was standing just beside Evie.
"Evie ma chérie, c'est vraiment dommage mais je vais devoir partir maintenant. Tu es toujours la bienvenue ici, je t'enverrai un texto avec ma nouvelle adresse. J'aurais vraiment besoin d'une amie dans cette grande et ennuyeuse maison" I said rolling my eyes.
"You've always been so full of surprises Brielle, thank goodness I learnt a little French back in the days in school else you could have completely thrown me off balance." Evie said laughing
"So When did you learn to speak French so fluently?" Evie asked me curiously
I smirked, "you of all people should know darling that I am a woman of many talents"
I told Evie as I stole a glance at Drew who couldn't keep his eyes off me as I conversed with Evie, he looked Impressed.
Of course, I'm Brielle and I could get whosoever attention I needed to get and whenever I wanted.
Evie smiled mischievously "I really wouldn't want to keep you waiting, I'll take you up on the visit, save up those gists till I come around and don't forget to text me the address" Evie said as we hugged.
"Of course, I will" I said to Evie as I bade Drew goodbye
Grabbed my purse and made my way towards the door, exchanging pleasantries with my husband's friends as they made their way out. I turned to my Cullen and told him I was ready to go home.
He grabbed his coat and we made our way out the door. I couldn't wait to get home, to be alone with my thoughts and memories of the young man who had captivated my attention at the party.
As we drove home, I couldn't help but smile as his face appeared in my mind, his bright blue eyes and easy smile leaving me breathless.
Cullen looked over at me, a concerned expression on his face.
"Is everything alright, Brielle? You seem to be smiling for no reason," he asked, his eyes locked on mine.
I bit my lip, trying to think of a way to distract him from my suspicious smile.
"Oh, Of course I'm alright durling" I said with a seductive tone "I was just thinking about something naughty for tonight" I replied, a hint of mischief in my voice.
Cullen's eyes widened, a small grin forming on his lips. "Oh really? Do tell," he said, the hint of a teasing tone in his voice.
I laughed, knowing I had successfully distracted him. "Maybe.. you get to find out yourself tonight" I said, slowly moving my hands to his thighs.
"Right now, I just want to enjoy the ride home with my New Husband." I said smacking my lips
Cullen smiled, his eyes fixated on mine like a mouse to a cheese and didn't say a word till we got home.
I held the power to captivate and command any man I desired, no matter how wealthy or powerful.
With a single glance, I could ensnare their minds and bend them to my will. The art of seduction was my weapon, and no man was safe from my irresistible allure.
Finally, we arrived home, and I made a beeline for the shower, the warm water cascading over me as I closed my eyes, lost in thought.
Memories of our brief conversation at the party flooded my mind, and I couldn't help but replay the moment when he had taken my hand, his touch sending shivers down my spine.
I knew it was wrong to feel this way towards my husband's cousin, but I couldn't help it.
The attraction was undeniable, and I knew it would be a long night as I lay in bed, lost in my thoughts and memories of the young man who had stolen my heart, if only for a moment.
As I lay on the bed lost in my thoughts, my heart raced as I heard the creaking of the door. Suddenly, Cullen walked in, his muscular body glistening in the moonlight that shone through the window. My eyes were drawn to him, half-naked and utterly irresistible.
As he approached me, his eyes locked onto mine with a fierce intensity, sending shivers down my spine.
I felt a tingle of excitement as he climbed onto the bed, his body heat and the scent of his cologne overwhelming my senses.
Without a word, he began to kiss my neck, sending waves of pleasure coursing through my body. I let out a soft moan as he caressed my skin, his hands wandering down my body and pulling me closer to him.
The anticipation built as he slowly removed my lingerie, revealing my body to him in all its glory. He worshiped every inch of me, his touch igniting a fire within me that burned hotter with each passing moment.
Our bodies entwined, we lost ourselves in a frenzy of passion, our breathing ragged as we explored each other's desires although Drew was the one on my mind as we made love.
It was a night of unbridled passion and ecstasy.
I opened my eyes to an empty bed, feeling the warmth of the morning sun on my skin. Cullen was gone, but that was of no concern to me. I wasn't attracted to Cullen's looks, just his wealth. I saw him as just a means to an end, a way to fulfill my desires without any emotional attachments. As I got up to take a shower, my mind wandered to Drew. He was unlike anyone I had ever met before. There was something about him that intrigued me, although I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. After my shower, I made my way downstairs for breakfast. Cullen was already there, enjoying his meal with a sense of satisfaction. "Bonjour beau," I said to him with a seductive smile."Bonjour belle," Cullen replied, his eyes fixated on me as if he couldn't get enough. We talked about his business meetings over breakfast, but my mind kept wandering back to Drew. Cullen was just a temporary distraction, but Drew had the potential to be something more, I could feel it. As he stood up to leave, he r
I walked into Cullen's mansion with a few shopping bags in hand, feeling a little tired from the long day of shopping in the bustling New York City.As I made my way up to my room, Cullen's driver offered me a refreshing smoothie he had bought on our way back from the mall. I gladly took it, it was as if he could read my mind at the moment.I was still sipping my smoothie when my phone rang, and to my delight, it was my friend Evie on the other end. "Hey Evie, what's up?" I greeted her warmly."Oh Brielle, it's been such a stressful day at work," she exclaimed. "I could really use a break."I sympathized with her and told her about my day, how I had gone shopping at the biggest mall in the city. Evie was thrilled to hear about my adventure, and she couldn't help but express her envy. "Wow, you're so lucky to have met Cullen," she said. "I wish I could've gone with you."I chuckled and explained that it was a last-minute decision and that I didn't have time to invite anyone. "But don
It was the next day and I was in my room, staring out the window, waiting for my friend Evie to arrive. I had invited her over to the mansion, and I couldn't wait to catch up with her. But as I gazed out the window, I saw Drew, leaving the house. I couldn't deny to myself that I was attracted to him, and I could sense that he felt the same way about me. But we had never acted on our feelings, on my own part it was partly because of my contract marriage to Cullen and I guessed the same reason went for Drew too. Only that he never knew my marriage to Drew was a contract. As Drew walked past the window, Evie had just pulled up the driveway. Evie had a crush on Drew ever since she met him at my wedding party, and I could tell she was going to be shamelessly flirting with him again.I got up and went down to welcome her regardless, as soon as she walked in, she couldn't help but admire the mansion."Wow, this is truly breathtaking. The scale and grandeur of this place are just beyond wo
I slowly opened my eyes and found myself staring into the intense gaze of a sexy masculine figure, Cullen. I was startled, and my heart skipped a beat. "What are you doing here?" I asked with a confused expression, still trying to process the situation."Sorry I startled you, there's something I would like to discuss with you," he said in his deep, masculine voice.I was annoyed. "What's so important that couldn't wait till I was up? A lady needs her beauty sleep, you know?" I asked him with a frown. "I'm sorry for interrupting your sleep" he apologized again "But it was urgent and I know this wasn't in our contract, but I feel I can trust you," he said in a husky tone.Brielle was taken aback. This was starting to sound serious. "Okay, what's it already? You're giving me goosebumps, handsome,"I asked impatiently, I wasn't one to be put on suspense."I need you to work together on a project with my cousin Drew. I don't want to employ an external hand as it could ruin everything. It'
After hours of listening to Cullen's PA drone on and on about the project, I was exhausted. Drew, who had been sitting next to me the whole time, must have felt the same way because as soon as the PA left, he turned to me and said, "Do you want to go hang out and unwind?"I nodded, grateful for the invitation. We needed to take our minds off work and just relax for a little while. Drew was seemed like good company, and I felt comfortable around him, so I knew that hanging out with him would be the perfect way to destress. We made our way to a bar that Drew knew, and he ordered us both a drink. As we sipped on our cocktails, Drew asked me, "Where did you learn to speak French so fluently? I heard you speaking to Evie before leaving your party the first time we met."I smiled, remembering my wedding party with Cullen that had brought us together. "I love to explore and learn new things," I said. "French is just one of the many languages I've picked up over the years."Drew looked im
As the insistent knocking on the door continued, I found myself panicking. Drew had to hide in my closet as I faked a sleepy voice to mask the tumult of emotions raging within me."Who's there?" I managed to ask, feigning a yawn in hopes of sounding convincing."It's me, ma'am," came Carla's voice, the maid. "Sir Cullen asked me to call you to his study. He wants to discuss something with you."My heart raced as I considered the implications of being summoned by my husband, who was nothing more than a contractual obligation. I needed to buy some time to figure out how to deal with the situation."I'll be there in a few minutes," I replied coolly, still not opening the door for her. "Let me wash up first."Carla's footsteps faded away, and I breathed a sigh of relief. "Drew," I whispered urgently. "Come out, she's gone."He emerged from the closet, holding his shirt and trousers in his hands. "Damn, that was close," he said, rushing to dress up."I don't regret it, though," I said to
I hesitated for a moment before answering, unsure of what to say to Ignacio. I hadn't spoken to him in weeks, not since after the wedding party with Cullen."Hey.." I said, trying to sound casual."Brielle, mi amor, how are you?" he asked in his thick Spanish accent."I'm fine," I said, avoiding the question. "Seems like business ain't moving too busy today huh?" "Ofcourse it is, I just wanted to hear your voice," he said, his tone softening. "I miss you, Brielle. When are you coming back to Spain?""Oh.. mi amor, I miss you more than you can ever Imagine but as you know I've been working on my fashion line here, it's really hectic and time consuming" I said, my voice not sounding too convincing as my mind was racing. I couldn't tell my husband about the mess I'd gotten myself into. How could I explain that I was stuck in a contract marriage to a man I barely knew all because of money?"Brielle, is everything okay?" Ignacio asked, his voice tinged with concern.I hesitated for a mom
I had left for the office early in the afternoon, and I was surprised to see Cullen still at home when I returned. He greeted me with a smile and asked me how the project was going."How's the project coming up Brielle?" He asked, his eyes still fixated on his laptop."So far so good, nothing to worry about" I replied still trying to understand what was going on and why he wouldn't look at me. "About what we discussed yesterday," My heart skipped as I heard him bring up yesterday's discussion"Have you thought it it through?" He asked, finally pausing to look at me.I was about to respond when he cut me off, saying, "I understand if you don't want the paparazzi hounding us, especially when our marriage isn't even real." He went on, "I've decided to keep you off the paparazzi's radar. We'll only attend events that are private enough to let people think we're really married, feeding their thoughts." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. But at the same time, a part of me felt rel
