Natalie's POV

"Hi, John Dave. How are you?" I smiled at him while he looked at me as if he was watching me.

"I know I'm beautiful so don't stare at me too much or I'll melt." I joked with him and sat in my seat.

"You're beautiful because that's why I'm more attracted to you." He was riding on my joke but I know it's true and now it's over his gaze shifted.

By his side was his cart full of sacks. It means that he always sold a lot of goods. He followed what I was looking at.

"What are you thinking?"

"Ah, I just saw that you bought a lot of goods. I always notice a lot."

"It must have saved up for a week that I was gone." He answered me sparingly and I saw that his face was a bit sad.

I suddenly changed our topic because of what I saw on his face. He also adjusted the seat.

"I gave you my number but I didn't get your number. I still wanted to invite you to church this morning but I couldn't call you."
