"Now talk!" The Alpha growls.

With a pleading look in her eye, the woman keeps shaking her head as if begging her mate not to say a word. The Alpha brings one plate of meat closer to her, waving the aroma towards her nose. Her demeanor changes as her thoughts become obsessed with food.

"Is keeping your secret really worth starving?" The Alpha taunts.

"No," the woman replies, swallowing back saliva. "We honestly do not know much. A few big wolves attacked us out of nowhere and took our son. They will kill him if we do not report back to them in 4 hours."

"Who is "they"?" The Alpha inquires.

"We truly do not know," the man answers. "They did not say what pack they are from or who their Alpha is, just that he wanted us to scope out the Wolvesbane pack and report back all that we see, smell, and hear."
