It's Time to Go

"I can't believe my mother refused to come with us. I doubt they are going to be very welcoming toward her once we are gone," a voice whispers.

"Now isn't the time to be crying for mommy. We can't fuck around. We have to be quick if we are going to make it out of here in time," another voice huffs quietly.

I can see two silhouettes, but the room is dark, so I can't quite make out who they are, although I have an idea.

"Give me the syringe if you aren't going to do anything but whine."

"What crawled up your ass and died? You don't have to be such a bitch!"

My eyes are adjusting, but I can't see well. Why in the hell is it so dark?

"Which one is Cassidy?" One of the voices hisses.

"Hell, if I know. Great idea cutting the lights."

"If I hadn't, then the guard wouldn't have been as easy to take out. Here."

One hands something to the other. I hear a scratching sound and then smell sulfur as a match is lit. The match confirms my suspicion that the two intruders are Marc and Hazel
