The She Alpha Prophecy

JezebelI can feel the tension as I enter my front door. I have just returned home from school. It was a really bad day! Tisha was in a great mood, which I immediately was suspicious of. Tisha is never in a good mood. She can not stand me, and the feeling is mutual. Despite our dislike of one another, we keep it cordial. Her father is our pack's Alpha, and my father is his Beta. We used to be close friends. We enjoyed sleepovers at each other's houses, went places together, and hung out at school. It has been four years since we liked one another but we are forced to play nice. Today, however, Tisha was too nice. I am usually greeted by my adoring friends once I step foot on school grounds. JeddI had just ended a phone call with my sister Susan a few minutes before I heard the sound of tires on gravel. Susan decided she couldn't sever the mate bond, and Jezebel would be arriving alone. I thought she was crazy for even thinking about trying. Jezebel is almost an adult and capable of being on her own. I am 42 and still haven't found my mate. I am a soldier and wouldn't have been the best father or husband in my younger years, but the older I get, the more I crave being mated and creating a family. Taking Jezebel in will give me some practice on being a parent as I will be watching out for her and giving her guidance. I have lived alone for so long that it will take some adjusting to have another person living in the house, though. I step out onto the porch and wave. She slowly steps out of the car. She has long black hair and loose curls blowing in the breeze. She is wearing sunglasses with blue tinted "mirror" like lenses. I want a pair! She looks strong and rebellious.

ShirleyClarissa is one of most women in this town who love to gossip. I listen when people talk, but I don't participate much. I do not gossip, and I do not like drama. JezebelI lock the door behind me and look around, wondering where I should begin. I decide to start in the living room since it has the least grime. Uncle Jedd had managed to dispose of his trash and put his dishes in the dishwasher, so I polish the end tables, then I dust what few knick knacks he has as well as the TV. After I finish vacuuming, I spray some air freshener and move on to the kitchen. I spray some oven cleaner on the stove and start the dishwasher. I sweep and mop the floors. After hours of scrubbing, the kitchen looks completely different. My arms ache, but I am incredibly pleased with what I have accomplished. Uncle Jedd is going to shit himself when he gets home in the morning. I move on to the bathroom. I wipe down the walls and then clean the sink and shower. I clean the mirror and organize the cabinets. The toilet is repulsive. I gag the whole time I scrub it.Feeling sweaty and gross after hours of cleaning, I am beyond ready for a shower. JezebelI awake around 9 AM and can hear Uncle Jedd snoring in his recliner. I sit in bed for a moment, my mind still reeling over the vivid dream I had."Jade... Jade! Stop ignoring me!
