Chapter 2: The Plan to Approach Ethan Adams

As the night fell and the city lights began to illuminate the streets, the bar was filled with colorful lights that flickered along with the music. It was crowded because it was Valentine's Day. Isabella and her good friend Sophia were sitting at the bar counter. Isabella shared with Sophia everything that had happened during the day.

"So, you're planning to seduce Ethan Adams?" Sophia asked.

"Yes! What's wrong? Do you think I can't handle him?" Isabella replied.

Isabella's perfect face caught Sophia's attention, and for a moment, if she were a man, she would undoubtedly be captivated by the owner of that face. But Sophia said, "You don't know that women who pursue Ethan Adams can encircle New York. None of the ladies from prestigious families that he encounters manage to capture his heart. This man is not easy to handle."

Isabella laughed after hearing that. Throughout her life, there was nothing she couldn't handle.

Sophia added, "Moreover, with your family background, if you approach Ethan Adams, he will definitely consider you a spy sent by your family."

The Adams and Turne families were both real estate giants, and there could only be one leader. Over the years, the two companies had fought fiercely for projects.

"Who knows that I am the heiress of the Turne family?" Isabella raised the glass on the table and finished her drink.

Sophia suddenly realized, "That's right, no one knows your identity."

When Benjamin was three years old, he was kidnapped by kidnappers and almost lost his life. As the most beloved princess in the family, in order to prevent such a thing from happening to her, her father never publicly announced her existence. Outsiders only knew that the Turne family had two sons and were unaware of the existence of a daughter.

Then, the two continued discussing how to approach Ethan. Sophia pondered for a moment and slowly said, "On a stormy night, as a newcomer to the entertainment industry, you escape from a hotel where the producer tries to tempt you with the conditions of being the female lead in a movie. You refuse and flee into the rain-soaked streets. Just then, the CEO happens to drive by, like a deity descending from the heavens. You stop his car and ask for help. How does this plot sound?"

Isabella listened and couldn't help feeling speechless.

Sophia became more enthusiastic as she continued, pulling out her phone and checking, "OMG, the weather forecast says it will rain tomorrow, perfect timing! Quickly have someone investigate Ethan's schedule." She then searched for Ethan online. The man in her phone was extremely handsome, with delicate features as if they were meticulously carved by a god, perfect in every way.

Isabella also saw Ethan's photo and had to admit that he looked really handsome, despite having seen countless types of attractive men. It was no wonder Olivia didn't like Alexander.

Sophia suddenly stared at Isabella, then looked at Ethan's photo, and said, "I think you two would make a great match, a handsome man and a beautiful woman!" she exclaimed.

"No! This person looks like a heartless and ruthless capitalist. I don't like him," Isabella firmly stated.

Meanwhile, a few well-dressed men were sitting on the second floor.

"OMG, look! Those two girls at the bar downstairs are so beautiful! Especially the one in the black dress!" Ryan's voice rang out, and everyone's attention turned to them. It had to be said that these two girls downstairs were indeed very beautiful.

Nathan, sitting next to Ryan, frowned slightly and said, "She's a new artist signed to my company."

Ryan's eyes lit up instantly. "Your artist? What's her name? Nathan, do you have her contact information? Send it to me quickly!"

"Her name is Isabella," Nathan said, looking at the indifferent man across from him. "Ethan, this is the artist who missed the audition today."

Ethan raised his gaze and casually glanced downstairs. At that moment, Isabella happened to get up and walk towards the restroom, revealing her slender waist and those long legs. For some reason, Ethan suddenly felt a bit restless and finished his drink in one gulp.

The first-floor restroom was crowded with people. Along the way, Isabella was approached by many, but she politely declined each one. The air was filled with loud music, and Isabella's gaze seemed somewhat unfocused. This was probably her last carefree day since she wouldn't have time for such occasions once she entered the entertainment industry. After waiting for a few minutes, Isabella grew impatient and headed towards the second-floor restroom.

After washing her hands, Isabella touched up her lipstick in front of the mirror. With her perfect face and those seductive red lips, she exuded an irresistible allure. Isabella put away her lipstick and walked out of the restroom just in time to see a man in a black suit with an excellent demeanor walking down the corridor. The man was holding a lit cigarette and talking on the phone.

The clear and stern profile caught Isabella's eye, and in an instant, her gaze froze. She hadn't expected to meet him here after just discussing with Sophia how to seduce this man. Thoughts raced through Isabella's mind, and the next moment, she turned back into the restroom. In front of the mirror, a heavily made-up woman was lighting a cigarette. Isabella approached her with a smile and asked, "Hello, can you give me a cigarette?"

The woman was slightly startled but didn't refuse. She took out a cigarette from the pack and handed it to Isabella, saying, "Do you need a lighter?" "No, thanks," Isabella replied.

After receiving the cigarette, Isabella walked out of the restroom. Ethan had just finished his call and put his phone in his pocket. He then extinguished his cigarette and was about to leave when a voice came from beside him, "Hello, can I borrow a lighter?"

Ethan turned his head and saw Isabella's delicate face. His expression slightly paused. Seeing the dress she was wearing, Ethan recognized her identity. She was the newly signed artist at Nathan's company.

In a place like this bar, numerous people wanted to strike up a conversation with Ethan, but he didn't even spare them a glance. However, at this moment, Ethan instinctively took out a lighter from his pocket and handed it to her.

Isabella took the lighter, smiled slightly, and said, "Thank you." She then lit the cigarette, took a deep puff, but ended up choking and coughing. She liked drinking but didn't smoke. However, she pretended to be experienced and casually exhaled the smoke, then returned the lighter to Ethan.

"If you don't smoke, then don't smoke," Ethan played with the lighter in his hand, a hint of mocking smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.

Isabella didn't expect to be seen through so quickly. A trace of embarrassment flashed across her face as she looked into Ethan's eyes. It seemed like he was saying, "What are you up to?" After hesitating for two seconds, Isabella gave up the act and extinguished the newly lit cigarette, throwing it into the trash can. She gave a faint smile and said, "If I don't make some moves, how can I seduce you?"

"Seduce me?" Ethan's stern gaze flashed with a hint of amusement.

"Yes," Isabella took two steps forward in her high heels, her face carrying a bright smile and a playful tone. "There's a hotel nearby. Are you coming or not?" she asked bluntly.
