"You don't need Evan for the passcode," Jane says lowly, and our heads snap in her direction.

"Does someone else have access," Emmett asks with a hopefully gleam.

"I know the password he typically uses for everything. He doesn't know that I know it. But why are you looking into the pack's finances," Jane asks Emmett with a suspicious tone.

"Your Father's behavior is sending up red flags. Also, there seems to be an irregular dispersion of money inside this pack. Your members live poorly and have no real income, but somehow there are fancy cars and modern renovations in the Packhouse/ Alpha house," Luna says, folding her arms over her chest.

Luna is clearly not a fan of my mate. Ace growls in my head, but I agree with her. Does Jane know something? Not knowing anything about my mate sucks. I slowly step back from her, releasing all contact. The need to protect her is no longer a raging flame in my soul.
