The Twin Alphas’ Fated mate

My alarm blared successfully waking me up, I shuffled on my bed and a low groan resonated from inside me, I shut my eyes and tried to find the strength to get out of this very comfortable bed. The ringing sound of this stupid clock kept irritating my ear I had no choice. Slowly, I got of from my bed packing the bed sheet and blanket with me as I moved, I rolled onto my side and slapped my hand on the little round cap on the clock shutting the stupid thing off.

I swung my feet over the bed and got up but then immediately sat back down, I'm having tests and so many lectures today, I rose to my feet and made my way to the bathroom. I took off my pajamas and wrapped my white fluffy towel over my body. I am returning to school after two weeks of chaos and a huge mess, humans have been roaming the streets with axes, guns and other dangerous weapons, that's what we got for revealing ourselves to them.

All these is king Mares' fault, he's such a fool, he thinks he's so high and mighty and knows it all. I washed my body with soap and then washed my hair, removing and washing away all the knots and dirts that has made a home there these past few weeks. I brushed my teeth afterwards and I made my way back into my bedroom.

A loud ringing sound caught my attention, I looked around and saw my phone vibrating on my reading desk, I made my way to it and I grinned as my eyes caught sight of the name of the caller, I swiped right to answer the call and an instant smile formed on my face.

"Good morning darling." I chirped in a high pitched and melodic voice, my smile not diminishing even slightly.

"Good morning Bia, hope you had a wonderful night?" She asked, sweetly, my smile widened as I made my way to the closet.

"Not really, the noise from outside almost kept me up all night." I replied with a heavy sigh, I ran my hand over the fabric of a white tank top trying to decide today's outfit.

"They are still fighting over there? The riot stopped here a few days ago—" I cut her off.

"It's not gonna stop here any time soon and this is all the Alpha's fault, he's so stu—"

"Don't you dare complete that sentence!!" she warned, I could hear and feel the seriousness and hostility in her tone.

"Well it's not like it's a lie, I don't get why you get so defensive and sensitive when we are talking about it." I yanked the tank top out of my closet and paired it with a red high waist palazzo trouser.

"You would get it if you were not a rogue, he's my Alpha I can't not sit on my hands and let some rogue insult him." She commented and I stared at nothing in awe and shock.

"I have to get dressed now, talk to you later," I replied feeling hurt and sad, she didn't have to point that out, and the way she said it like being a rogue is disgusting or something.

I want to live my life of my own free will I don't want shine breathing down on my neck telling me what to do and when to do it besides, being in a pack is the worst decision I could ever make in my entire life.

I slipped on a pair of panties and a bra and put on my trouser and tank top afterward, college life is not easy at all in the slightest, I have to slay, read, pass, make memories, make friends and the list goes on. I finished off my outfit with white sandals and then did my hair.

With my hair stretcher, I slightly curled my dark hair and sprayed some hair spray it to give it that shine and fragrance, then I moved on to makeup. I applied concealer under my eyes and one pump of foundation, with a brush, I blended it all out and put on a channel nude lipstick which is the most expensive makeup product I own.

The ground, wall and my whole house shook vigorously causing me to lose my footing and fall on my side, the shaking stopped and it was followed by gunshots and loud bangs, I could hear cries and screams of terror. What is this world turning into? I got up and fixed my bed and room, grabbed my bag, charger, and phone then rushed downstairs.

I was about to make myself a quick breakfast when my heart dropped and I jolted back in fright as I heard loud crashing sounds coming from the living room. I slowly went to take a peak and I gasped at the sight in front of me, a couple of guys piling up near the window and breaking my burglary, I am definitely not going to waste my time and energy fighting these men. With a baseball bat a blonde huge looking guy completely shattered my burglary and attempted to break into my house with his people.

I ran up to my bedroom, my heart racing and in the pit if my stomach, I slammed the bedroom door shut behind me and locked it. Not wasting any time I yanked one of my mini suitcases out of my closet and started filling it with clothes and things that I need, I rushed into the bathroom and grabbed my towel, sponge, soap, literally everything.

My brain was barely working at this point, I never thought it would get this bad but I'm glad I had a backup plan, the bastards started banging on my door, my body was shaking badly and I could barely concentrate on anything.

I filled my luggage with clothes and underwear and I grabbed my piggy bank which is a coconut-like object that houses most of my savings, I then grabbed my wallet from inside my closet which had the rest of my savings, and stuffed it into my backpack. Wood flew into the room followed by loud roars, I looked back and parts of my door were gone. I grabbed my laptop, laptop charger, my headset and just stuffed it all in my backpack.

I zipped both bags up and climbed to my bed, the door was this close to being thrown off its hinges, I opened the window and threw down my luggage, it's a two-story building which isn't that high and for that, I'm very thankful of. I spotted the keys to my truck on my reading desk, I quickly grabbed it and I jumped out of the window with my backpack on my back and I heard the door finally cave in.

I heard footsteps and voices coming my way and my heartbeat quickened again, I grabbed my suitcase and made a break for it, I went left and to the front of the house.

"We are in big trouble again aren't we?" My wolf Lara asked nonchalantly stretching at the back of my mind.

"Nothing to crazy." I muttered in response to her looking around to make sure the coast was clear.

"Why are we running? We could totally take them." she yawned and I made a break for it, I quickly unlocked my car which made a loud sound in the process gaining their attention.

I swung the door open and threw my luggage to the passenger seat hitting the door hard and it might have cracked my glass, all of the seven men ran towards me like bees to honey, I slammed the door shut and started the car.

"You want us to take on seven bulky rogues? Have you finally lost it?" I asked starting the car, one of them slammed himself against the car and he recoiled back, what was he thinking? I would have laughed if I wasn't in danger. I stepped on the accelerator and raced out if there, a couple of them ran swiftly behind me chasing me down but I'm a master driver, I changer gear and stepped on the accelerator even harder this time and like that I successfully escaped the clutches of these mad rogues.

"All I want right now is mate." Lara moaned, I could feel the sadness in her voice.

"We'll meet him soon okay, but for now let's just focus on staying alive."
