Chapter 134

The air outside the dungeon was cold and still. Emma stepped out slowly, her steps steady, her eyes low. She wasn't satisfied after watching the guards whip Jayden into a pulp and Kale crying his head out and pleading with her not to kill him. Of course she won't kill him but she'd made their life unbearable and miserable.

She didn’t speak to the Jack who was following beside her. Her hands stayed locked in front of her as she walked out. The guards stood near the gate, waiting for orders, but she said nothing to them. She only walked out after one kart glance at Jayden who laid like a heap of potato on the floor breathing hard.

She waved Jack off and began heading to her room.

Tyler saw her from the corner. He had been waiting for her to walk down this way. The moment she came out, he pushed off the wall and walked to her.

“Emma,” Tyler called, sauntering towards her. “Can we talk?”

Emma stopped walking reluctantly but didn’t look at him.

Tyler stood in front of her. His

Chapter 138The High Council stared at Tyler with eyes like cold stone. The air in the large hall changed from it once being smooth to it being hard. It turned heavy, sharp. The silence between Tyler and the Council was tight like a stretched rope. None of them moved. No one blinked. Then one of the elders gave a small nod.“Guards,” the old man said in a low voice, but the word echoed.Almost at once, guards appeared. Their boots hit the floor in loud steps. They held long spears and thick shields. And they were all dressed in armor that you could barely see their body. It was just their eyes peeking out from the helmet on their head and their noses too. They walked in fast. There were six of them. Maybe more. They formed a circle around Tyler even without them being told to do that. Once the council had sent for them during a meeting, they knew the invite was the one at fault. Their faces held no fear as they looked so unstoppable. They were ready to act.“Take him out,” another Cou

Chapter 137Tyler walked for hours. His legs hurt. His shoulders ached from the weight of his bag. The sun was up now. It wasn’t bright, but it was enough to make him sweat. He didn’t stop. He couldn’t. The road was rough. There were dry leaves scattered on the ground. Birds flew over his head. The trees stood tall around him looking like danger itself. He woke up for what looked like eternity but he knew the road too well, and was sure he was heading the right way. He wanted to get this done immediately. He saw the gate ahead. It was huge and wide. Black stones built the wall. Two guards stood in front. They looked strong. Both of them held spears. They did not smile. They did not blink. They stood still like statues. And he couldn't help but let out a low laugh. He'd never worked here where every guard had to put on a non-smoking face.Tyler walked up to them. He stopped and tried to catch his breath. One guard stepped forward. “State your name.”“Tyler,” he said. "I am the right ha

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 136

Chapter 136Tyler could not sleep. He sat alone on the edge of the bed, staring at the floor, after he'd turned a thousand times on the bed and had nearly fallen off. His chest felt like he was carrying a heavy load. His hands were cold. He looked over at the other side of the bed. It was empty. Emma was not there. It wasn't like he thought Emma would be in his room but at that time he thought about it. She wouldn't be in his room but he felt her slipping away from him ever since the twins arrived. He knew she'd be in her room probably sleeping while he was sick-worried here about her leaving him for the twins. He ran his fingers through his hair and stood up. He paced around the room. He felt angry but also sad. He didn’t know which one was stronger. He had tried everything. He had given Emma space. He listened and went as far as waiting. But now… now he felt her slipping away. And it scared him. If she let go of him, then that was the end of everything he had been through with her.

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 135

Chapter 135Emma walked down the long stairs that led to the dungeon. Her steps were slow. Her fingers brushed the cold stone wall as she moved as if taking her time to feel the dungeon again since it was not the most appropriate place she did visit in the palace but since the twins arrived, it's been more of like a recreational place for her. She was just noticing how the dungeon smelt like pain and regret and it brought old memories. She paused at the last step. Her eyes scanned the shadows. She was sleeping up in her chambers when she felt something. Someone had been there before her. The energy was still there. She could sense anger. She could feel tension. But she shook her head and whispered to herself."Maybe I'm just tired."As soon as she sensed the energy, she got up and decided to come check the dungeon. She didn't know what it meant but she wanted to make sure no one had broken into the palace to rescue the twins since the energy came from below. She didn't believe the tw

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 133

Chapter 133Emma stared at the twins as they looked at her hopefully. Did they think she was going to buy into their stupid excuse? She didn't think she was ready to forgive them just like that after everything they did to her? How had they even found out Shawn was their son? Maybe Ever had told them the truth of whatever she doesn't care about. All she knew was that she didn't believe everything they had told her.“I don’t believe you,” Emma crossed her hands looking intently at them.Kale lifted his head. “Emma, we’re not lying – ”She raised her hand. “Don’t speak until I’m done. You're in my palace, so don't be rude. I am the queen here and you've to respect and obey me.”Jayden closed his mouth as he stared at her in awe. Yes, she likes this.Emma’s eyes narrowed. “Do you remember what you said to me back then?”Jayden and Kale looked at each other but said nothing.Emma took a slow step forward. Her voice grew louder. “You told me my baby wasn’t yours. You looked me in the eyes
