“He tried to kill you or do something else?”
Valencia waved her hand away, “Of course, he failed at it or I wouldn’t be alive in front of you, right? Give your archon some credit, alpha Castro.”
He heard the tone of supremacy and a little annoyance in her voice and simply nodded his head.
Meanwhile, after a while, the rogue stirred a little and both of them immediately turned their heads to look at him.
“Looks like he is waking up…”
“Give me the bottle, quick…” Valencia added and Dominic did as told.
The rogue, Daniel, opened his eyes a little and saw a hazy kneeling in front of him to get a better look. His vision was blurry and he tried focussing on the person in front of her.
He felt cold water splash on his face as he shook his head to get rid of it. The water seemed to help and he focussed on the face of Valencia who was looking at him with icy cold eyes.
“Please…let me go…I didn’t do anything…” his voice was hoars
