“What?”

Dominic blurted out in shock to hear her say that. 

Dusting her hands, she replied, “This scum of a rogue said that to me instead of ordering a drink.”

The alpha curled his fingers into a fist and punched him square in the jaw as well. While he had caught the pun behind the drink, to think that someone would even be near Valencia, and try to take advantage of her….his blood began to boil.

Why was he having such murderous thoughts? Clearly, because he wanted to protect his archon. ‘Yes, that’s what it is,’ he told himself.

And that someone was tied to a chair in front of him.

Of course, he wanted to kill that rogue then and there. Caleb should have been thankful that the alphas merely punched him and didn't tear him apart because they still needed answers from him.

After hitting the young man’s face, Dominic felt a little of his tension loosen up. Caleb slumped down on the ground, knocked off, taking the chair down
