Troy
I have been watching my mate from a distance ever since I found her 2 years ago. Deciding to wait till she was 18 to approach her, I thought it would make it easier on her to transition. When I found her, I was out on a walk to clear my head after a rival pack killed my father. I head to my favorite spot, which is a hidden clearing in the woods overlooking the city. As I come to the opening, I see her. Sitting on the bench looking over the city, her long curly red hair lies around her shoulders. She looks lost in thought, so I stay hidden in the trees watching her. Suddenly, she starts looking around. Did she hear me? Her eyes, a beautiful shade of dark blue, scan the tree line. But she doesn’t notice me. I take in her scent; it's a sweet smell of honey and lavender. I could feel my wolf getting excited. He wanted to meet her, but not yet. For now, I have to keep my distance. Kate When I wake, my vision is blurry, my head pounding in pain. I sit up quickly as I realize what happened. I grab my head at the sudden movement. I need to take it easy. As I look around the strange room, I wonder where I am. “Sleep well, princess?” a husky voice says from the corner of the room. I jump, not realizing someone else was in the room. I turn to see Troy sitting on a chair by the window, watching me. “Where am I?” I start to question. “I know you have a lot of questions, and I promise to answer them soon. For now, let’s get you some food.” He says with a smile. “No, I’m not going anywhere with you,” I yell and dart for the first door I see. Running out the door and down the hall. When I look back to see if he is following me, I run into someone, knocking me to the ground. “Are you okay?” A strange man says. “No, you have to help me,” I explain. “Alpha…” he says, taking his gaze to the floo.r I feel someone grab my forearm, and I turn to see Troy. His grip tightens on my arm as I try to break free. “I got it from here Jake,” Troy says as Jake walks away, leaving us alone. “Why are you doing this? What do you want?” I snark. “Kate, I’ll explain everything at breakfast, I promise,” Troy says softly. Without releasing my arm, he leads me down the long hallway. We come to a set of stairs that open up to a luxurious living room with a big chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. It’s beautiful. He leads me into the dining room. Where Jake and a young woman sit. He motions for me to have a seat. I sit down slowly, waiting for the right moment to try to escape. He sits next to me and starts putting food on my plate. Bacon, a slice of toast, some eggs, and more. He can’t be serious. There is no way I can eat this much food. He must have noticed the look on my face. “Just eat what you want.” He sighs, adding food to his plate. We sit there in silence eating for what feels like forever before I decide to speak, “You said you would explain, start talking.” I say bluntly, not wasting any more time. “I need you to keep an open mind. Can you do that?” He starts. “Sure,” I say, shortly crossing my arms. “I am the leader of the North Moon wolf pack. Jake is my beta, second in command. This is his mate, Molly.” He gestures towards the young woman. “We are werewolves. You were kidnapped by our rival pack because you are my mate and the future Luna of our pack. I’ve been watching you from a distance, waiting for you to turn 18. I thought it might make everything easier on you. Yesterday I went looking for you, but it was too late. Sam got to you first. I’m sorry I should have come for you sooner.” “Your werewolves?” I laugh, “Is this some kind of prank?” “No, it's not a joke!” He says sternly, “You need to understand your situation and everything that is going to happen.” “What do you mean? What is going to happen?” I question him. “We are mates, which means I have to mark you. Since you are human, the transition is going to be harder for you. Then there will be a mating ceremony where you will be introduced to the pack as their new Luna.” “Marking? Mating ceremony? What the hell are you talking about?” I start to panic, standing up from the table. “Calm down, I know it’s a lot to take in. We will take things slow, it's okay,” he says, trying to comfort me. “No, I have to get out of here,” I bolt. Running back to the living room and out the front door to see that there is nothing but trees. I start running through the woods, waiting to be anywhere but here. My lungs start to burn, and my legs are going weak. I'm not in the best shape, I don’t run or exercise, so I didn’t make it far before having to stop and catch my breath. As I take in my surroundings, I start to wonder if he could be telling the truth. I sit on a nearby stump to rest my legs. As it starts to rain, I notice how beautiful it is. The trees dancing in the wind and the sounds of birds singing. I take a deep breath, filling my lungs with the fresh air. For a moment, I let my mind wander. I could stay here forever; it feels so free and relaxing. I’m startled by the sound of footsteps walking towards me.KateAfter a few hours, I hear the door unlock. Sitting up in bed, I look to see Troy standing in the doorway. “Come eat, the kitchen has made lunch,” he says “I'm not hungry.” “You need to eat, come downstairs,” he takes off the ropes, and leaves. There is no sense in trying to run anymore. He will never let me leave, but that doesn't mean I'm going to listen to him. Walking over to the bookcase, I grab a book to read to pass the time. Troy comes into the room and places a plate of food on the bed, when I'm about halfway through the book. He leaves without a word. I place the book on the bed and grab the plate of food. Walking over to the chair by the window, I sit looking into the woods while I eat. I put the plate on the dresser and lay back on the bed to finish the book. I must have fallen asleep for a few hours because a knock at the door startles me awake. Troy walks in, taking the plate from the dresser and replacing it with a dark blue dress and black shoes. “Get change
Kate“Are you okay?” Troy says, coming into view. “No,” I say, looking up at the trees above, letting the rain run down my face. “I’m not going to hurt you, I promise.” He touches my shoulder, sending sparks through my body. “What was that?” I stand, backing away from him. “That is our bond. I'm surprised you are just now feeling it.” “Can you do it again?” I ask cautiously. “Yes.” He smiles. He takes my hand, and my eyes widen at his touch. Moving his hand up my arm to my shoulder, he leaves a trail of sparks that makes my head spin. Stopping for a second before cupping my face with his hand and rubbing my cheek with his thumb. My whole body is on fire. I’ve never felt this before. The feeling makes me relax into him. I close my eyes, letting myself get lost in his touch before I hear him speak. “Our bond is strong and will only get stronger after I mark you.” “No!” I shove him away and turn to run. “Kate, please.” He grabs my arm, and I punch him in the face. He does

JamesKatie is the mate of Alpha Troy, the leader of the North Moon pack. She doesn’t seem to know anything about our kind. She doesn’t know her mate; how can this be? If she were a werewolf, she would have shifted by now. Could it be? I take a deep breath, and my eyes light up at her scent. She is a human and a virgin. I walked towards her with a grin on my face. This is going to be fun. KateHe placed a hand on my cheek and slowly lowered it down to my collarbone. My whole body tenses with disgust at the sensation. He has a different look in his eyes, more evil. He moves his hand down even lower over my chest, and I try to move away, but the ropes are leaving no room for movement. “What are you doing?” I say sharply. His hand grabs my face with force as he leans in closer. “The look on your mate's face when he sees that I took his untouched, innocent mate will be even more rewarding.” He rips my shirt open with a quick upward movement, exposing my bra. When his hand moves along
Sam “Yes, Alpha, I understand.” “Okay. Here she comes.” I say, hanging up the phone. “Hi, I'm sorry to bother you,” she says She goes on to explain how she locked her keys in her car and needs help getting it open. This is going to be too easy. I help open the door, then offer to change her flat tire. After she denies my help, I know she is getting suspicious. Not to alert her to my plans, I walk away. If I mess this up, the alpha will kill me. I start walking away, just enough so that she thinks she is safe. As she pops the truck, I grab her. She kicks me in the balls, making me drop to the ground for a moment. This bitch is going to get it now. Alpha said not to harm her if possible. I'd say it is necessary. I get up and pull her collar back as she is running, making her fall. She looks up at me, obviously dazed from the impact. With one kick, she is out. Picking her up, I put her in the back of my SUV. It's black with tinted windows, so no one can see. “Alpha, I have her
Kate It’s November 25th, I wake up from my nap and hesitate getting out of bed. It’s my 18th birthday, but to me, it’s just another day. I’ve never really liked my birthday; no one remembers it anyway. Getting out of bed, I check my calendar. The basketball game is tonight. I’ve only been to one game and left at halftime out of boredom. Personally, I would rather spend my time taking photographs and listening to music. Yet here I was getting dressed to go, why? A feeling is pulling me to go tonight. I have to go and see why. Walking to my closet, I try on many outfits, not liking anything. I can never find any clothes to complement my curvy body type. Finally, I settled on some black fitted leggings and a light blue crop top that just showed the bottom of my stomach. I put on a black cropped jacket and boots. I threw my curly red hair into a bun and took one last look in the mirror. For the first time in forever, I looked pretty good. I walk out of my dorm, making sure to grab my k
