"They've been insisting for quite some time now." The messenger continued and i creased my brows.

"Bring them in!." The elder ordered and the messenger went out only to come back in with two men.

They both set their knees to the ground, the moment they were Infront of the elder.

How respectful!!!

"So what do you want, young men and where are you from?." The elder asked in the usual formal style.

"We've actually come with the sole aim of delivering our news to Petal." They both solicited.

"Listen, if there's something you want to say, you say it to the appropriate authorities okay, like the elder or Logan. " I hissed, redirecting them immediately. I don't want to have anything to do with authority, neither do I want to be a part of authority.

"We are not ready to say anything if it isn't Petal we would be talking to." The men insisted with a defiant look on their face. Interesting!!! When did I become so important? I guess it's when I realized that I had to run away from
