Chapter 20

Luna POV

I woke up and began to think about how I will tell Willow about who she is. I know I will not tell her everything because she is still so young. I want her to experience being a kid as much as possible before she accepts her responsibilities.

As I go over everything in my mind, I can’t help but let my mind drift to my mate. He almost found us. I can't let him find us not yet at least no matter how much I want to. Once they become mated, she would have to take on more responsibility than she is ready for. Willow just does not know all that is ahead of her, but I know even though life was difficult for her she will be prepared.

I sense Willow beginning to stir awake and I know the questions will soon begin. She slowly opens her eyes and lay onto her back. I know she is reliving our first shift as she stares off at the ceiling.
