CHAPTER 30 – Date Night
When they reached her apartment, Mark said he was too tired to drive back. Hence, he decided to sleep over with Penny. The morning routine looked like their normal weekends but instead of going out, they all went to their respective business.
Mark dropped Penny in his villa where the nanny was waiting and went straight to the hotel.
Amanda’s schedule was fully booked for the day and she was glad that all her clients today were all loyal customers.
She didn’t receive any news from Valerie and she thought maybe she was just in town really trying to piss her off.
The rest of the week went smoothly for everyone and finally it was Friday. The date night.

Their table at the ‘Royal Lake’ was set up in a gazebo. Amanda didn’t see other diners on the way there. What she didn’t know was the gazebo is not part of the restaurant available for public. It was part of the hotel area and even though it belongs to the Mills family, Mark still had to pull some strings and cash in some favors to get this in a short notice.
