Chapter 41 - Mating with The Unknown

"you were right..." she said and I lifted my head up to look at her as she sat opposite me on the table.

I didn't say anything, just looked at her and waited for her to continue.

She sighed before she continued, "about what I wanted to believe and what not. The honest truth was it was easier to assume that you were cheating and forgive you than to actually believe you wouldn't cheat at all."

I ached my brow at her, was she listening to herself.

"still crusifiying me for what your ex did to you. How could I sleep with someone who wants to take me back to that hell hole I spent my life running away from Anzania?"

She shrugged, "I mean you look past that and Ava was beautiful and she had a way with words.."

God if she only knew. Ava was telling me the people who were coming for me. And her apologizing but still pressing this was just pissing me off. I had my own things to worry about, not a girlfriend who thought I was unfaithful with a dead person.

"damn right she had a way with words.
