LOGINYulia never imagined that one mistake could destroy the life she had planned for herself. At nineteen, she is forced into a marriage with Adrian Blackwood, a ruthless billionaire CEO whose power can crush her family with a single decision. She hates the marriage, hates the cold man she has been forced to call her husband, and most of all, hates the way her heart seems to betray her whenever he's near. Adrian never wanted a wife he couldn't control. Yulia never wanted a husband at all. Their marriage is nothing more than a powerful arrangement built on family secrets, resentment, and two people determined to stay strangers. But everything changes when a ruthless Alpha appears. He claims Yulia as his fated mate. Suddenly, the billionaire she swore to hate is no longer the only powerful man fighting for her. An ancient werewolf world is closing in around her, secrets about her identity are beginning to surface, and Yulia discovers that her forced marriage may be connected to a destiny far more dangerous than she ever imagined. Caught between a husband she insists she despises and an Alpha who refuses to let her go, Yulia must uncover the truth before the two worlds collide. Because sometimes the man you are forced to marry isn't the man you were destined to love... And sometimes, the person claiming your heart is the one who was never supposed to find you.

I could still hear the footsteps behind me—frantic and steady.
I slowly increased my pace, tightening my grip on my bag as I glanced at my phone.
9:00 p.m.
I knew I shouldn't have gone for that night class. I sighed and plugged in my headphones, hoping the music would drown out the sound of my heartbeat. But it didn't help. I could still feel someone following me.
I took a sharp breath and stopped abruptly.
For a moment, everything went silent.
I slowly turned around. And the moment I did, I froze. The blood drained from my face. A tall, buff man stood several feet away, a black mask covering most of his face.
Before I could even move, a pair of strong arms wrapped around me, locking me in place. Panic surged through me. I opened my mouth to scream, but a hand clamped over my nose and mouth. A piece of cloth pressed against my face. My eyes flew open the second I realized what was happening.
No.
I thrashed violently, kicking and struggling with everything I had, but the men were far stronger than me. My movements slowly became weaker. My vision blurred. My limbs grew heavy. I could feel tears sliding down my temples as consciousness slipped away.
What a shitty-ass birthday.

“She’s been unconscious since we brought her here, sir.”
“I warned you not to harm the girl.”
"We followed your instructions, sir"
I kept my eyes half-open as I slowly scanned the room.
Surprisingly... pleasant.
I had been expecting a dark basement with cold concrete walls and maybe a rusty chain attached to the floor.
Wasn't I kidnapped?
I heard the men fall silent. Still pretending to be unconscious, I shifted my eyes toward the left. They were staring at me. I immediately closed my eyes.
“Leave us.”
“Yes, sir.”
The door opened and closed quietly behind them. I focused on regulating my breathing, keeping my eyes shut. Maybe if I stayed still, he'd think I was still unconscious.
“Are you awake?”
Shit.
I remained silent, but my lips trembled. After a few seconds, I slowly opened my eyes and met another pair of eyes.
Sea green.
My jaw nearly dropped. The man sitting beside the bed tilted his head slightly, his gaze trailing over me. I tried to sit up.
Nothing.
I tried moving my arms. Nothing. My legs? Nothing. Panic immediately returned.
“Who are you—”
My voice cracked. I swallowed hard and stared at him.
“What did you do to me?”
He sighed before slowly pulling off his black leather gloves.
A tattoo covered the back of his left hand, while deep scars stretched across his palm. His hands looked rough, worn, almost as if they'd seen far more violence than they should have.
“It's a lot to explain. You're probably confused—”
“Yeah, no shit.”
His eyes lifted to mine. He stared at me for several seconds. Then, without saying a word, he reached up and removed the black mask covering his face.
I tried my best to keep my expression neutral. It wasn't the face I had expected to see behind that mask. A long scar cut through his left eyebrow and stretched toward his eye. He was frighteningly handsome. And somehow, that made him even more unsettling. His gaze dropped to his hands for a few seconds before returning to me.
“The drug will wear off in a few hours.”
My eyes widened.
“The drug?”
“I knew you'd try to run.”
His voice was calm. Almost annoyingly calm.
“I had no choice.”
“You are not explaining anything!”
My voice rose as frustration and fear began to consume me.
“Why am I here?”
He stared at me for a moment before standing.
“I'll explain everything tomorrow.”
“No.”
I shook my head as panic flooded my chest.
“No, no, no! I'm not spending the night here!”
I tried to move again, desperate to get off the bed. My body refused to cooperate. I nearly fell over the edge.
“Stop!”
I screamed, throwing my head back against the pillow.
“I want to go home!”
He continued toward the door as though my screams didn't affect him.
“Try to settle in.”
His hand wrapped around the doorknob. Then he paused. He glanced over his shoulder. A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
“Oh, and...”
My heart pounded.
“Happy birthday.”
And then he disappeared through the door.
YULIA'S POV"You know, I've never actually liked you."My heart sank as I stared up at Bella."To think you tried to steal from me?" she scoffed.I shook my head repeatedly, rubbing my palms together as I knelt on the floor."Bella, please. I didn't do it.""Then who did?"My mind raced."I—I don't know, but I saw your boyfriend go into your room and run out—"Before I could finish, her palm collided with my cheek. The sharp sting spread across my face."How dare you?"I held my cheek, tears gathering in my eyes."I was telling the truth..."She glared down at me. But no one believed me.No one ever did.*****************************"We've arrived."I slowly opened my eyes. For a moment, I forgot where I was. Then I remembered.Armani immediately ended his phone call and slipped his phone into his pocket before looking at me."You've been quiet for a while."I simply glared at him. My eyes still burned from crying earlier, and I quickly looked away when I felt them beginning to sting
YULIA'S POV "I don't like this dress" I broke the silence and crossed my arms. I wasn't expecting an answer from Armani but I got one anyways. He shifted uneasily beside me and cleared his throat."What is wrong with it?""It is too revealing" I replied and turned to face him. He glanced at his wristwatch before adjusting his tie, his expression unreadable."I prefer this to the ones you picked. We still have an hour. If you don't like it, we can stop at a boutique."I blinked. A boutique? For a moment, I almost forgot that I was sitting beside the man who had kidnapped me.Almost.I turned back toward the window."I'm talking to you.""I heard you," I replied without looking at him.A heavy sigh came from beside me."This attitude...and this tone. You will have to drop it when we get there. You will not speak to my family like this."I remained silent. I wasn't going to argue with him. Not because I agreed. I simply didn't want to waste my breath. Out of the corner of my eye, I watc
YULIA'S POVI was back in that room again. At least, that's what I thought when I slowly opened my eyes.I turned onto my side, still half-asleep, expecting to find myself alone. Instead, my eyes landed on a bare-chested man sitting a few feet away from the bed. My heart stopped. I immediately pulled the sheets over my body. The room was dimly lit, making it difficult to see his face. I slowly pushed myself upright, squinting as I leaned forward."You're awake early."The familiar, hoarse voice made my stomach drop.Armani."What are you doing here?" I snapped. He stood and stepped closer, moving into the faint light. My eyes instinctively travelled over him. His body looked almost sculpted, broad shoulders, defined muscles, and several scars scattered across his chest and abdomen.I quickly looked away."You were crying in your sleep."I frowned."What?""This place is quieter at night." He paused. "I could hear you from across the hall."My fingers tightened around the sheets."I wa
YULIA'S POV"She's a thief! I want her deported right away!""No, no, please! I didn't do it!" My voice cracked as tears streamed down my face. "Mom! Dad! I didn't do it! I was framed! Please, believe me!"But my screams fell on deaf ears. My mother stared at me with cold, unfamiliar eyes. The warmth that had once been there was completely gone."I knew we shouldn't have adopted this one."My heart shattered. I stared at them in disbelief, desperately searching their faces for even the slightest hint of the parents I knew. There was nothing. The officers grabbed my arms and pulled me away."Mom! Dad!"I fought against their grip, crying and screaming as they dragged me farther away."Please! I'm telling the truth!"Neither of them moved. Neither of them came after me. And that was the last time I saw them.***************************************I opened my eyes slowly. My face was wet with tears. For a few seconds, I lay there, confused, staring at the unfamiliar ceiling above me. Th
