I know the truth

"Why are we here again?" Ruhee whispered while looking around the room carefully.

"They are planning something and I have a feeling I can find something here."

I opened a file from another stack, it had information about the different packs, their territory map, the family tree. They were keeping an eye on almost every pack. 

"How do you know that?" Ruhee was standing in the corner skeptically.

"Faith said something about a war and I know werewolves are not going to start it."

Ruhee gave me another confused look.

"Damien used to tell me everything about the packs," I whispered, "he was worried about catching the Alpha so I used to ask him questions about werewolves as a distraction."

She opened a file and started turning the pages, "Do you miss him?" 

She was looking at the words written on the white pages but her ears were waiting for the answer she already knew.
