I knew so much but I had no evidence to prove my words. What could be worse than that?

I kicked the pebble on the road thinking about my current situation and what I could do to change it.

I gave a smile to a woman on my way who returned it with a small smile of her own that failed to reach her eyes. It was not only her, everyone was scared.

The playground was not filled with the laughter of kids, the roads were empty, the cafes and restaurants were closed before darkness could take over the blue sky.
