Chapter 11: A murderer

She was in the master bedroom, going over and over again the moment when Christopher kissed me.

I cannot deny that many emotions have taken over me, I know very well that he will never love me. But just for a moment I wanted to imagine that possibility.

I heard a shout at the door, "What's going on?" I wonder, then put my shoe on so I could find out.

"Oh my God!" "Who did this?" At that moment, fear ran through my entire being when I saw my two guards in a pool of blood.

I looked in both directions and there was no trace, until I came across small bloody footprints, surely they belonged to the murderer.

I ran out desperately without stopping to look around me, I did not understand why there was no one. My tears covered my eyes as I run and feel like someone is following me.

I wanted to yell for help, but that would only give away my location. I don't want to die, I still don't feel ready.

I heard some footsteps coming in my direction, I could tell that it was a single person.
