Episode 04

A LITTLE FROM LAST EPISODE

"I want your daughter's hands in marriage in return for the money she made me lose,

"Am going to marry her,

Mr Brown exclaimed,

THE STORY CONTINUES

Mr Williams open his mouth slightly,

"Is it that you want your son  to marry Rissa or what?"

Mr Williams asked confused looking at how old Mr Brown is, with his rough life attitude

"Don't act confused, you heard what I Said, and I want myself, I , to marry your daughter or she will spend the rest of her life in jail.

Mr Brown said

"But..Mr Williams tried to say,

"Go home and decide,I  will visit you soon,

Mr Brown said pointing at the door for him,

Mr Williams sighed and Walked out of the office

He entered his car and drove home,

He arrived at the home and gently knock on the door,

Mrs Jenny opened the door almost immediately,

"Wow, have you been waiting for me"?Mr Williams asked,

"OOf am so eager to know the outcome of your meeting with Mr .Brown. 

Mrs Jenny exclaimed,

They entered the room together and sat on one of the chairs,

"Where is Claudia?"I haven't seen her watching her favorite film,

Is already 5:00".

Mr Williams asked

"Oh, she went to the beach, she went to hang out with her friends, so what's the outcome?"

Mrs Jenny asked

"He said, for him to release Rissa from the cell, she has to marry him.

Mr Williams replied,

"What, how can  she marry him, that's impossible,

Mrs Jenny shouted.

"Calm down, at least get ride of riding Claudia will enjoy her stay here, even though he is damn old, but am thinking of accepting the deal,

Mr Williams said

"Gosh, what's wrong with you, if Rissa  married Mr Brown she will live and enjoy life, Don't forget, he is fr making rich and popular,

Mrs Jenny yelled

"So what should we do now?do you want me to go back to Mr Brown and tell him everything was a lie? that Rissa is innocent and Claudia caused the accident"?"

Mr Williams yelled,

"Yes, I can't watch Rissa enjoy life while my daughter will be stuck here and Continue suffering, hell no.

Mrs Jenny shouted

"Calm down hun, Mr Brown is a dirty rough guy, very cold, rude and arrogant, even though he is rich,

His first wife is suffering, she looks thin and dark,

"He is a wicked man, I will rather let Rissa suffer with me than for my precious Claudia to suffer,

Besides, since he has a handsome and rich son, after the marriage, we can force Rissa to link Claudia with him so Claudia will be the one to enjoy".Mr Williams exclaimed

"Wow, I never thought of that, what are we waiting for, let's get ready and visit Rissa, so we will let her know of Mr. Brown's intention, can't wait to see her face on the wedding day,

Mrs Jenny chuckled.

NEW YORK CITY CRIMINAL PRISON

Ding, dung, ding, dung,

A loud bell rings waking everyone up,

Rissa covered her ears, the sound is too loud, she murmured,

She yawned and tied her hair before wiping her face,

She saw Tracy seated a few meters away from her,

"Good morning, Rissa greeted,

"Hey, you awake?"Tracy asked

"Yes, with the creepy loud bell,u can't sleep any further,

Rissa said and Tracy Chuckled,

"Amused to it yunno, the first time I slept in this cell, and the disgusting bell rings, I jumped up screaming, looking for a place to hide, I thought it was an alarmed for the announcement of world war three,

Tracy said and Rissa laughed,

"You are so funny really, Rissa said

"Am glad I made you laugh, you know, laughing in the morning helps and your day will be super good,

Tracy said swinging her hands in the air,

"Get up girls, it's time to get the breakfast,

A lady announced

"Sure, thanks billy, Tracy replied,

"Wow, we get another guest, she looks cute,

Billy exclaimed

"Yes billy, she is Rissa, Rissa, this is Billy, a nice friend,

Tracy introduced

"Nice to meet you billy, am Rissa,

Rissa said with a handshake,

"Nice to meet you, guys we have to be fast  before those hungry prisoners finish the food

Billy said and they all chuckled before heading to the food bar,

While following the straight line,

Rissa saw her dad and step mum, a smile escape her lips, and joyous tears fall from her eyes,

"Guys, my dad is here to get me out, Rissa said to billy and Tracy excitedly

"Wow babe, am happy for you, Tracy said and hug her,

" guys, I have to go see them,

Rissa said and wave them,

She headed to them forgetting how he denied her choosing her step sister oner her,

With excitement in her on her face, 

She went to them,

"Hi Dad, she waved

For the first time in so many years, he smiled at her, it melts her heart,

"We brought food for you, is your favorite, I cooked it myself,

Mrs Jenny said

"Uhmm, thanks, but why are you both being nice, are you here to take me out of this place?"

Rissa asked

"Yes, your mum and I pleaded with Mr. Brown. to let you out of this place, he agreed but with a condition,

Mr Williams said

Rissa paused eating and look at her dad,

"What deal?" Rissa asked

"He said he will let you out only if you agree to marry him,

Mr Williams said,

"Marry him?" that old man, never".Rissa said and drop the spoon she is eating with."

"C'mon Rissa, don't be stubborn we have no option and it will even be of help to your sister Claudia, you will make a way for to get his son,

Mr Williams said hoping she will agree

Rissa was shocked,

She stood up,

"I knew you will never help me, you are so selfish, dad,

"So you want me to marry the old man so your favorite daughter will marry the young guy and enjoy while I suffer right?"

Dad, I don't need you in my life,

"You know what?" I will rather die here than to marry that cold ruthless old man, and I  will rather die here than to live with you as my dad

Rissa yelled angrily and turn to leave

"And yes, I don't need your food, or your damn sympathy, she added and left,

Tracy and Billy watched her from afar,

She came to them crying

They hugged her,

"Don't worry babe, it well,

Tracy said wiping her tears.

"I told you right, that girl is so wicked, she will never accept the deal, I regret cooking for her, ah

Many said angry and sat on the chair shaking her legs,

"We won't let this opportunity escape from us, I will  talk to Mr Brown

Mr Williams assured.

THE BROWN PARADISE

Clifford, as usual, sat in front of his laptop working, he is so married to his work,

He takes care of all his dad's company,

His mum, Mrs. Elizabeth knocked,

"Come in mum, Clifford replied,

She walked in with a cup of lemon juice,

"Have this cliff, I made it specially for you, it will reduce the stress,

She said

Clifford chuckled,

"Stress?" no stress will reach the one am going through now,

"Getting married on a fixed date without a bride?" who does that mum, we are in the 22centuary, we are not in the olden days that you both will decide for me to get married.

Clifford half yelled,

"My son, it will be my greatest joy seeing your marriage alive, but then, I don't want to see you sad, I have gotten into many fights with your dad just so he could cancel the wedding, but he is so engrossed about it and very stubborn

Mrs Elizabeth said,

"Mum, for goodness sake, upon all men's in the whole universe, why on earth do you choose dad as your husband and a father to me?" He is  too selfish,

Clifford said

"He is your father's son, you can't say anything bad about him,

Mrs Elizabeth said

"Let him do anything he wants to say, but the decision remains unchanged, he is getting married on the fixed death, "coz even if I eventually died before that day,

My lawyers will make sure the wedding

Take place that same day

Mr Brown cut in wearing a mischievous grin,

"Okay dad, thumps up to you, can you both excuse me, I have a lot of things to do,

Clifford asked,

"Sure son, take care of yourself and don't forget to sleep early,

Mrs Elizabeth said and pecked him,

"I am trying to teach my boy a lesson of life while you are the one spoiling him,

Mr Brown smart,

"Teaching your boy a lesson?" how can someone who doesn't know the lessons of life be able to teach his son life lessons,

"Acting like you are as soft as a dove while you are as mysterious as a lake

Mrs Elizabeth said and get out of the room

Mr Brown's phone rings

He checked the caller ID and smiled

"Your wife-to-be dad is calling, should I send your greetings?"

Mr Brown asked

"If you want me to get married, can I at least see the picture of the so-called bride?

Clifford asked

"Nop, you can't, don't worry

You will get to see her face on the Alter,

Bye

Mr Brown replied and exist the room.

He slide to answer the call

"📱Hey, Williams,

Mr Brown said

"📱Good day Mr Brown, I called to give you the feedback,

Mr Williams answered,

"📱Oh, so what?" Mr Brown asked

"📱She said she will rather die  than marry an old man,

Mr Williams asserted,

"📱So that means am going to lock up your whole family in cell l right?" or do you think 15 million dollars is a small amount?"

"Mr I want your daughter's hands in marriage in return  for the money she made me lose so am going to marry her,

Mr Brown thundered,

"📱Am so sorry Mr Brown, but she is so stubborn, there is still a way If you can make her life living hell in the prison,the n am sure she will have no option than to accept.

Mr Williams suggested,

"📱Are you sure that girl is your daughter?" you love her,

Mr Brown asked coldly,

"📱Very sure, look, I hate her being my daughter, because of her my wife died while giving birth to her,

Mr Williams answered,

"📱Mr Williams! have anyone ever  called you an illiterate?"

Mr Brown asked,

"📱 Because you are actually a fool,an illiterate, because only illiterate people think the  way you think,

"How can you hate your daughter because her mum died while giving birth to her,

Are you sure you are not sick?"

Mr Brown asked

"In fact am tired of speaking to you,you are so Annoying,

Mr Brown said,hissed and hang off,

NEW YORK CITY PRISON

Billy,Tracy and Rissa were sweeping the cell compound when two hefty Police men arrived,

They dragged Rissa with them like she is some kind of goods,

"Let go of her,where are you taking her?" Tracy asked

"Is none of your business,if you don't want to be involve,get your hands off her,

The cell officer's said and kick Tracy dragging Rissa with them,

Like a dog,they continue dragging her,while she plead with them,but none even give a damn about her,

She was taken to a dark room that has no atom of lightness,

They tied her with a rope, on the ceiling closing her eyes with a black net,

They started beating her back with a horse whip,she screamed for help but none listen to her,

Another whip landed on her kneck,

She screamed no more coz she have lost all her strength and voice,

Her neck is bleeding,so her back,

They untied her spreading some salt on the fresh wound, because of the unbearable pains,she fainted..

Rissa opened her eyes slwoly,she realized she have been brought back to her cell,Tracy and Billy were with her crying for her, pitying her conditions,

Even a thief that robbed a bank doesn't deserve this kind of beating,

She was laying on her stomach coz her back is bleeding with no medicine to ease her pains

An officer arrived,

He trow some cloth for her, 

"Put in this cloth immediately,Mr Brown is here to see you,

The officer annouced,

"I don't want to see him,Rissa replied

"If I were you,I won't try to engage myself in a fight I know I will lose,

"Mr Brown is a very powerful person,if you are not tired of these pains,then be stubborn,

"I got to go, the officer said and locked them back,
