He was so tall that she still had to tilt her head back to look up at him. Who was this man that scared and made her feel safe at the same time?

Her heart thundered in her breast as she realized that he seemed like he was frighteningly angry. But at what? She didn't know him so why does it seem like he was angry with

His gaze skimmed her body and when their eyes met, she could clear see the disgust in them. "You look like a slut"

Her fear disappeared completely as anger stirred like a boiling water within her. How typical for a male wolf, arrogant male to think he had any right to criticize her simply because she was female.

Amy thrust her chin out, propped her hands in her hips and gave him the same thorough look he had given her. She might as well return the favour.

"I don't know who you think you are, but can you do yourself a favour and get the hell out of the strippers room and don't forget to keep your opinions to yourself."

His expression grew lethally cold. "Are you trying to play a fast one on me, Avira."

Her eyes widened more and she took a step back, her pulse drumming wildly. How did this familiar stranger know her name, not just her stage name her name which no other people know except for her foster parents. Clearly, he knew other wolves that she was friends with that recognized her somehow. Or perhaps he knew her late father.

But why didn't she recognize him at all and a man like he was had to forget if they had met. He was too big and too magnificent, definitely to full of himself like other werewolves male. He would have been impossible to ignore.

"Why would I play games with you? I don't even know you!"

His eyes narrowed. "Tell me how you came to the place and do not play with my patience."

Amy drew herself up. How dare he question her in such commanding tone like he had every right to? "Since you seem to know more about me than I know about myself, why don't you figure that out."

He took a huge step into the room fully and everything else felt small in his presence. It was like he overwhelmed the whole room and her. She felt small.

Amy wanted to back away from him, but there was no where to go and she would not cower before this man who felt like she owed him anything. It was important that she showed him that she wasn't scared in any way.

"What happened? Who helped you do this?," he questioned. "Where have you been all this years?"

Amy swallowed. "Who...how.."

"Amy, is everything alright here!"

Her eyes darted past the stranger to Thiago, who stood at the door, his fists clenched at his sides like he was ready to defend her from this dangerous man. The stranger turned slightly to stare at entrance. Thiago's expressions was grave, his green eyes deadly serious as he tried to stare the man down.

She wish she could tell him that it wouldn't work. This was a werewolf that seemed dangerous enough to scare her, what he would do to humans who knew didn't know his nature would be devastating. The last thing she wanted was a fight because he knew that this man would definitely brutalize Thiago without even trying to. There was something cold about this man, something fierce and clearly untamed and lastly he was a werewolf while Thiago was just human.

"I am fine Thiago," she replied as calmly as she could. " He is about to leave anyway."

"No i am not," he growled, his voice trembled out with that of his wolf. He sounded like a high ranking werewolf, the wealthy and powerful ones who had the best lives.

"Well You should leave," Thiago said. "Any needs her rest before she goes back on stage."

"I see." The stranger turned back to her then and she felt the full force of his piercing eyes. Her wolf whimpered. "I don't think she would be returning to the stage. Avira is coming with me."

Fury flooded like Bløõd through her veins. What did he mean by that? "I am not coming any where with...."

He reached out and grasped her arm with an iron fist. His fingers firm and in control. Shock forced Avnet to go completely still as her body reacted with a shudder at the touch of his skin on hers. She had never felt this way with anybody.

Her whole body hummed in familiarity and her wolf moaned like it was in heat and want and, underlying that, a current of sadness so deep and strong that she wanted to cry.

"Hey," Thiago protested immediately, anger crawling through. "Let her go."

Avira looked up to the stranger in confusion. Pure, undiluted confusion. "Who are you?"

A shadow passed over his face before it hardened again. "Cut with the pretense. Do you expect me to believe that you do not know me?"

Anger and despair hit her in waves. The way he spoke and looked at her with so much hate made no sense at all. He hated her and she couldn't figure out why. She used all her strength and wrench her self out of his grip.

Amy hugged herself tightly. It was as if she wanted to protect her self from the anger and sadness ripping through her. Then there was the heat arcing across her and her wolf. Was he her mate?? But she had been told she didn't have a mate.

Thiago had disappeared but she knew he was going to fetch the club bouncers. He would be back at any moment and they would bundle this arrogant man out of here. Even as she thought about it, she knew that it would be impossible.

"Why would I know you," she snapped.

"Because you should," he growled, his dark eyes flashing hot, "You know me very well."

Her heart pounded at the certainty in his voice. He was insane. How could she know him very well when they had never met. "I can't imagine why you would think so. I have never met you."

He frowned and replied his voice laced with barely contained anger. "Because, you are my wife."

  • The lost Alpha’s wife   Chapter six

Thiago knew exactly who the man with Avira was, Neil Callister the most dangerous and powerful Alpha in Los Angeles. He knew that because he had been one of the hunters, sent to bring him down when he went on a rampage about his dead wife. No surprise there, his family was one of the most powerful wolf hunter’s. They were humans but were provided with every means to hunt and bring down wolves who tried to disrupt the order of the supernatural council. “Are you sure, you want to go with him?” He asked Avira yet again. She didn’t look scared like she thought she would, instead she had this look of someone who had just received some extremely bad news. Shaken thoroughly and pale. He knew she was a wolf but he definitely had no clue why Neil would have anything to do with her and why she would want to go with him.“Yes T,” She replied avoiding eye contact. He wished he could tell her what he was, because he had seen in her eyes the fear that he was no match for Neil when they had confr

“You mean he cancelled all his appointments and post phoned his coronation? Why?” Seraphina asked her dad in anger. She had been waiting all her life to mate and marry Neil. They were childhood friends and grew up together since their father’s were both Powerful Alpha’s who ruled Moonridge city. She had been waiting for her chance, when he had been mated with Asiago’s fragile daughter. A girl whose wolf was the weakest in the whole region. Seraphina had gone in to rage and rejected her own fated mate, sending the poor boy in to misery.“Dad! You should have asked him why he postponed everything.” She snapped.“I have not been able to reach him or his beta. The only information I got out of his mother was that he wasn’t in town.” Her father’s responded focusing more on the documents in front of him than her pacing. She had risked everything to get him back after that Avira or whatever she called her self took him from her and she wasn’t about to lose him again. What if he had suddenly

Neil shook his head. She was lying, playing him and denying what she knew to be true simply because she had been caught. She had survived the Alpha’s but she couldn’t have done so without help. “I have never heard of selective amnesia, Avira.” He growled his fangs showing. “How can you remember your parent’s, what you are and yet you do not remember me?” “I didn’t say I have amnesia!” She cried. “You did. Let’s even turn this around, then. If you are being truthful about me being your wife or Luna, why can’t I feel any bond between the two of us and why didn’t you come for me sooner?” “I have been busy in hunting the people that I thought had killed you.” He ground out. Neil and his wolf knew immediately they saw her that she was their mate, but without the bond she felt like a stranger, a familiar stranger. She shook her head. “I am not your wife. You are mistaken.” “Am I?” Neil tucked his hand under her elbow and pulled her out of the chair. He tried to ignore the current of

"I am your what?" She asked shocked beyond reasonable doubt. He stared at her in surprise, his face twisted at the fact that she acted shocked. Was she an actress too?? Because clearly she was acting really weird. She made a fool out of him and everyone else and he was going to find out why.He was certain she didn't act alone in this deceit, she definitely was hiding something or someone. Maybe a lover! The thought that she had a lover pierce him painfully. She was a cold, cruel woman abandoning her daughter leaving him to grow up without a mother. She care more for her self than she cared for Soliel. Neil hated her for it.And he hated this stirring in his blood as he looked at her. It was anger, yes, but it was something more. She was wearing a rhinestone shimmer short dress with a slit up to her hip. The v-cut at the neck of the dress showed a lot of skin and her nipples jutted through the meager fabric of her top, drawing shamelessly for his attention. He remembered though he d

"We found her, or someone who looks exactly like her."Neil looked up from the food he was eating. He had not been paying full attention to his beta who had been speaking to him about his upcoming coronation. Since other pack alpha had bestowed him with the true alpha title, they had been so much to do in preparation for the coronation. "What?" He thundered, every cell if his body revving in to high alert. The beta and the maids standing before him trembled. The beta bowed his head and spoke loudly his eyes on the floor."Forgive me, Alpha. I said that in preparation of your coronation, and mating ceremony we had to be sure your other mate was truly dead since we have never recovered her body.""It was never recovered because she was killed and devoured by the rebel pack of alpha's, Scott," Neil said mildly, his irritation clearly visible. "She is definitely dead and gone ."As always, he felt a pang of sadness for his daughter. Though he had lost his mate, it was the fact that his d
