" Every year on this day,you come to drink with me. Tell me Maya, what is the matter?" Samantha asked, pouring me another glass of wine.

" I can't drink with you though." She added, sounding apologetic.

" I know that. Kyle told me that you guys are expecting again. Congratulations." I said.

Six years ago, Kyle and Samantha finally got married and were blessed with a baby boy, Allison.

" He won't stop telling everybody about it. He's hoping we could have a girl this time." Samantha said with a smile.

" Anyway, don't try to change the subject. Tell me, it's been years, why do you still feel guilty about your parents death? You and I both know that you had nothing to do with that." She added, making me take a deep breath before sighing heavily.

" Samantha, do you think I am a filial daughter?" I asked and it seemed like my question took her aback.

Samantha stared at me blankly for a minute before a frown settled on her face.

" Why are you asking that? I don't understand." Confusion was a
