CHAPTER 4- THE FIRST ENCOUNTER

Heloix took his step gently in the forest, his eyes darting everywhere, hoping to see a movement around. He needed fresh blood, not the preserved shit the palace served him,

  he laid on his on his stomach, blending well with the thick darkness in the forest. His black fur gave a little shake as it settled on the ground, 

  he grunted, waiting for an unfortunate prey to pass by.

  After lying in the forest for forty minutes without seeing anything, heloix grunt at his beast

  “ we need to get back” he said in annoyance

  “ but im hungry and tired of the preserve meat and blood im being served in the palace ” His wolf replied to him

  “ Let's go black, I'll get you fresh meat in the palace”

  heloix said, trying to take over from his beast, but the wolf was adamant 

  “ that what you said two weeks ago” Black replied yawning he sighted an object moved in the dark, not an object seems like a four legged animal, Black got excited and watched as the animal walked silently oblivious of Heloix but the smell that was coming from the animal was driving heloix nuts

  “Black do not attack, that's a bloody wolf” he said taking over from his wolf, he crouched more into the ground, following the wolf silently, he felt a pull to the wolf,the white wolf.

  heloix looked closely at the wolf. The fur looked royal and beautiful.

  The pheromones oozing from the wolf were spinning his head, but he maintained his cool.

  “ Heloix, are you feeling that?” Black asked

  “ Shut up” he said to his inner mind, but he said it way too loud for the other wolf to hear, 

  the white wolf turned suddenly and stared into darkness trying to locate where the sound came from and saw two vicious looking red eyes staring back at him.

  Sylvos looked back intently at the shadow trying to get what was staring at him, but the eyes retreated into the dark, sylvos contemplated whether to follow but he changed his mind, he wasn't out to hunt for animals and he didn't plan to come this far but the smell that he perceived made him lose his sense of direction, that was not a normal smell. He hissed and ran off.

  Heloix watched as the wolf ran off after looking in his direction.

  ‘What will an omegawolf be looking for in the forest’ he wondered, forgetting his mind is still linked to hiswolf’s

  “With that reaction you gave even when far from her, i am sure she is your mate”Black said, 

  heloix hissed and closed the link between his mind and his wolf

  “ Who the hell meets their mate in the forest” he said annoyingly and ran off 

  Sylvos walked into the palace, heading straight to his apartment when he was called back by his housekeeper

  “Your majesty, the queen mother came to ask for you in your chamber, but she didn't meet you. She said to meet her at the dinner table” The housekeeper said his head still bowed, and sylvos nodded and turned back towards the main palace.

  Sylvos walked into the dining area with an expressionless face. He looked bowed down when he sighted his mother at the end of the table, his eyes also catching a glance of an omega sitting, but he didn't care. All he cared about at that moment was to get back to his room.

  “Sylvos…come seat, you have a visitor ” mrs. steele said, looking at sylvos with a smile. He bowed at a little looking at the lady, his expression cold, unfamiliar he shrugged and sat down on his chair

  “ Where have you being You look dirty” his mother asked him

  “ i went to pick wild flowers to plant in my garden” he replied dismissively with an expressionless face. He looked over to the lady as she stood up and bowed slightly

  “ Your majesty ... .how are you” she said. She looked beautiful, omega’s beauty, a perfect girl for sylvos, as his mother said later on

  .“ sylvos this is lucia, the second daughter of the Gates family at the northside of Eldoria” mrs steele said looking over from lucia to sylvos who was paying the least attention because his mind was somewhere else, he nodded his head

  “ I invited her in to accompany you to the alpha gala night next week and you both can get to know each other” she said sipping her wine, lucia smiled at mrs steele withher perfectly made teeth.

  “ i’ll be a great company for you, your majesty” Lucia said, looking down into her food.

  slightly Sylvos looked over at her, and not to be rude, he nodded his head

  “Ma can i go back to my room, im tired for today” he said instead

  “Uhnn? But you haven't touched your food” mrs. steele said, looking at him

  “ i had a lot to eat i the afternoon, your highness” sylvos said, standing up as he bowed to the mother, then bowed slightly to Lucia before leaving dining

  “ Have a good rest, your majesty,” Lucia said as sylvos walked away.
