CHAPTER 5 - HIS MATE

Heloix stood as his dressing maids carefully dressed him up, with caution, scared not to make any mistake. His friend Mike sat down on the couch nearby watching all the scenario with an amused face 

  “ you know heloix it wouldn't kill you smile at your workers” micheal said smirking 

  “ but it will kill them when they take it for granted" Heloix replied waving off the maids hands on his body as he settled down on the chair opposite micheal

  “ so what are you going to do about your mate” micheal asked 

  “ what mate”

  “ the omega you saw in the forest the one whose scent made you feel somehow”

  “Did i say she was my mate” sylvos said with an expressionless face 

  “ no you didn't but only your mate will make you feel like that”

  Heloix stood up from the chair “ are you ready to go because im about to change my mind now”

  “ sorry your majesty” micheal said smiling as he stood up “the party is always dull without you, i cant afford to vex you”

  “ and smile a little, it wont kill you” micheal added as they left the room with maids bowing behind them 

  The drive from Eldoria to the emperor’s city was long, too long for sylvos, Lucia was having her best time that moment, she stole glances at sylvos so many times, its annoyed the hell at of him, she tried to bring out a conversation from him, but it was all in vain, she got tired and settled down to look outside leaving sylvos to his thought.

  When they arrived at the the party, sylvos was not surprised to see a lot of alphas and omegas at entrance all struggling to get a glimpse of any alpha ruler that came to the gala; he got down from the car, his face looking like someone that doesn't want to be there but have no choice, Lucia came down after him and hooked her hand in his elbow as they made their way inside, earning a lot of Awe and admiration look from the others, but not because of the omega beside him but because of his face

  “ is this not the new ruler of Eldoria land, the one that looked almost omega” an onlooker commented 

  “Yeah he is the one, he doesnt look alpha” another answered.

  “ he is beautiful”

  When they got inside, sylvos silently unhook LUcia hands from his and bowed slightly to her

  “ you can go have fun milady” he said 

  “ but your mother asked me to keep you company” she said surprised he finally spoke to her 

  “ I'm not a child, nor a puppet” he replied “ so if you will excuse me” he said and sat down at a nearby table, looking round to find someone familiar coming towards him. An alpha 

  “ alpha sylvos” the alpha called him bowing a little, sylvos did the same and shifted over for him to seat 

  “ how are you doing jason” sylvos asked smiling a little bit 

  “ I’m fine syl” jason replied “ its nice to have you here, i was happy when i heard you finally got invited to the gala” 

  “ about that, why are they crowds here, i thought i was supposed to be only for alpha rulers” sylvos said taking a glass of wine from the table in front of them 

  “ yeah alphas rulers and their families, everyone you see are royals”Alpha jason said 

  Sylvos nodded 

  “ speaking of which, i hear about your engagements with the Alpha heloix, do you know what you are doing” Jason asked with a serious face 

  “ i know perfectly well jason, if he cant explain what his men was doing in my land then he should forget about them” sylvos said

  “ but you know what he is capable of” Jason said “ don't start a war” sylvos shrugged ashe watched people go by and wasn't a bit concerned about the kind of stare he was getting from the omegas 

  “ And do you know he will be present today?” Jason asked him with a concern in his voice. Alpha Jason was a distant cousin of sylvos and he took a liking to him, Alpha Jason was also good looking with a flirty eyes 

  “ Who??” 

  “ alpha heloix" he is going to be present with the emperor and we all know he is the one that controls the emperor” Jason said 

  “ Then I will be able to see what that beast looks like” sylvos replied 

  Alpha heloix sat in the court room of the emperor with Micheal looking at files on the table, it was the name of all the invites tonight which heloix wasn't really interested in

  He closed the files and turned back as the emperor walked into the room, alpha micheal bowed slightly while Heloix stood with a mighty aura 

  The emperor bowed to heliox and put on a rehearsed smile on his face 

  “ Alpha heloix, its nice having you here” the emperor said 

  “ Are you ready to go downstairs, the Alphas are waiting” MIcheal said to the two of them breaking the silence.

  “ yes offcourse” the emperor replied 

  Julius Dustin, the emperor of the whole kingdoms together, a greed engulfed man that was easily tamed by Heloix and can be easily be removed by Heloix, he was in his late seventies and loathed the fact he was being controlled by a younger generation.

  Alpha heloix stood st the stairway beside the emperor with a glass of wine in his hand

  “ the emperor is present now lets move forward” JAson said to sylvos from where they sat as more people walked forward trying to view Alpha heloix 

  Sylvos stood up and moved with the others in the room, but suddenly he froze,

  A loud sound of breaking glass shattering on the marble floor resounded, Alpha heloix glass fell from his hands 

  The smell was familiar, The smell from the forest was there, sylvos looked around frantically 

  The smell was intoxicating, the crowd was growing uncomfortable with the smell,

  “ who the hell brought their mate without bonding” someone yelled 

  “ my mate is here, that wolf is here” BLack screamed into heloix head, he groaned and held his head which made it scarier 

  Sylvos was turning pale, he followed the smell pushing through the crowds, he couldn't control it.

  Heloix staggered down the stairs with his beast grunting inside him, the pheromone oozing from him made a lot of omegas present passed out 

  He teared through the crowd looking for the other pheromones, he felt like he was drugged 

  Then he saw it, he saw the body where the smell was oozing out, the body was moving around looking for him, he needed to get close to the body, he couldn't control it and he went for it from behind, he bit him hard on the neck.

  Sylvos screamed loudly from the pain as he wreathed under heloix, but he was still held onto, the pain was excruciating for him he passed out before he could even see the face of who marked him.
