故事簡介

Nero is a young Boy when his pack is attacked. His mother manages to hide him before he is found but once he emerges from his hiding place he is caught. Only five children manage to survive the attack, including Nero. Sold on the black market for profit only Nero is left behind. No one wanted him as he was just too small and weak looking. A young girl caught his attention in the market and an unimaginable pull towards her when she gets pushed over by a much bigger boy. In an instant he aids to her rescue protecting her, in return she hands him a medallion. He will keep safe for years to come in the hope to find her again. A stranger hides in the shadows watching the young boy, seeing the potential that lays within. He offers to buy him and takes him home to meet his Family. James is an Alpha who has a son same age as Nero. Ezra is the Alpha’s son, born with a disability which makes him slower and weaker than his peers. Nero and Ezra are incredibly close so when a desperate Alpha called for a tournament to win his daughters hand, Nero did not hesitate to agree and be Ezra’s champion. Only when it was too late he realised he won his very own mate for his best friend.

Chapter 1 - The Beginning
Nero was only a young Boy when the Pack was attacked. One dark night when his mother had already put him to sleep. He heard the Bells ringing and climbed back out of his bed curious as to what is happening. His mother managed to get to him before he was spotted by anyone. Scared and frightened she grabbed hold of the little Boy with dark curly hair and hid him quickly in a Chest of blankets, putting clothes on top.   “Nero, listen now darling, whatever happens, don’t come out. We have prepared you for moments like this, do you remember?” she questions him, trying to stay as calm as she possibly can.   “Yes, mummy. I will stay here till my tummy grumbles and even longer after that. I remember.” He answers in his sweet voice.   “You need to be brave now, and remember that we love you so, so much.” She strokes over his head as tears start to roll down her cheeks. Chapter 2 - Slaves
 Barely any sleep as the pain kept him awake. Big dark circles around his eyes with next to no sleep make him look sick and weak. Tomorrow has come faster than Nero has anticipated, the night gone in a blink of an eye. No food is offered to the children as the cages are loaded on to a cart. A short drive away a big market. Jean is sobbing, the uncertainty of what is going to happen to any of them has worn her down.Music is played and the market is already in full swing. Chapter 3 - Is this Home?
Arriving at the Packs territory, Nero has to get used to the new scents all around him. It is different to what he is used to. This Pack is different. It’s not his Home. He knew it wasn’t but still left him struggling to catch his breath as he arrives. Here everything is different, not just the Scent but how the small village is built too. A Wall around the Grounds and Houses built closely knit around each other while his Father always liked a big open space to build houses, with space for everyone. As they get through the main entrance, a big Gate closes right after them. Walking down the main road, Nero can see a Big house at the end and holds on tight to the hand of the Alpha. Chapter 4 - of blood or not
The two young boys got on like a house on fire. They had their good times and bad but often Nero would take great care of his new partner in crime. Ezra was born with a disability but he was determined, it would not hold him back. The two was getting into adventures on a daily basis.It was James who would encourage them to stick together help each other and grow up as one. The things Ezra couldn’t do, Nero would step in and finish the Job. Chapter 5 - The Tournament
The announcer steps into the circle that’s drawn on to the ground.“Here we have on the left-Hand Contestant Jordan and to my right-hand side Contestant Nero.” The guy waves both of them into the circle standing opposite they both just nod at each other as they are ready to shift into their Wolf forms.In an instant Jordan changes into a very impressive muscular dark brown nearly black wolf as the clothes he had on fall into shreds around him. Chapter 6 - unleashing the wolf
Nero agrees and uses the break to rest. Even if he wanted to, changing back it would now be a stupid idea as he heals much faster as wolf than he does as human. He takes the advice from his mentor on board. He agrees, he will look for his mate as soon as the fight is over. Once he won this Girl for his best friend and soon to be Alpha of the pack, Ezra.
