Chapter 24 - the Betrayal
The cold water running down his muscular body offering a relieve, calming his nerves as he starts to feel stressed. He just stands there staring at the wall as his mind is racing. He needs to stop Ezra’s plans to marry Vida. They have always been close, right? So, it should really not be such a big thing. Nero tries to keep his composure, fairly certain he reminds himself that Ezra is now at a state where he thinks Vida is his mate, when in reality she is Nero’s.
He wraps a towel around his waist after drying himself walking back into his room when once again Silvia has left him some clothes on the bed to put on. Just this time he doesn’t feel comfortable enough to actually putting them on. Arriving at the Packs territory, Nero has to get used to the new scents all around him. It is different to what he is used to. This Pack is different. It’s not his Home. He knew it wasn’t but still left him struggling to catch his breath as he arrives. Here everything is different, not just the Scent but how the small village is built too.
