Chapter 22 - always and forever
Nero’s shoulders are hanging down with the weight he carries. Gordon looks over to Vida and Nero speaking in a low and calm voice “Guess you are on guard tonight, let’s get everyone ready, my Lady… you should join Silvia and Ezra in the main house.” With that he turns to leave slowly.
Nero holds his hand out towards Vida, she places her left hand in his. The sheer love between the two, the little sparks in their eyes as they look at each other. You can feel the admiration she has for him as she looks deep into his eyes. “Gordon is right Vida, you should leave. I will make sure you are safe.” Nero pulls her closer as he holds on tight to her hand. “I will see you in the morning.” He says in a whisper close to her ear as he places a warm kiss on her cheek.
“I don’t want to leave you. Let me stay here with you, I can help, I am sure.” She tries to plead with him.

In the last months i have started a new full time job, along side being mum to 5 children and our new puppy. Arriving at the Packs territory, Nero has to get used to the new scents all around him. It is different to what he is used to. This Pack is different. It’s not his Home. He knew it wasn’t but still left him struggling to catch his breath as he arrives. Here everything is different, not just the Scent but how the small village is built too.
