Chapter 23 - the Preparation
The village is now waking up and the day-to-day noises are starting but this day was unusual, the noises seemed busier than other days. Nero cold tell as he had been here many times before but never has been a morning been as busy and hectic as this. Vida straightens her hair out before they head back towards the Alpha house as Silvia has a heated discussion with one of the Villagers.
“Is everything okay?” Nero asks as he approaches them with Vida walking up behind him.
“We can’t find Vida; she hasn’t been in her room last night and nothing is going like we had discussed it yesterday with Ezra. It’s a mess Nero!” she almost shouts at him but then her voice drops a little as Vida steps out behind Nero looking at Silvia.
“I am sorry Silvia; Vida had asked last night to stand the night guard and I couldn’t find a reason why not to allow her.” Nero apologises as Silvia puts her hands on her hips looking mad

In the last months i have started a new full time job, along side being mum to 5 children and our new puppy. It has been hard to say the least specially when i wanted to start writing again my laptop broke, but thank you to those who haven't given up on me yet! Arriving at the Packs territory, Nero has to get used to the new scents all around him. It is different to what he is used to. This Pack is different. It’s not his Home. He knew it wasn’t but still left him struggling to catch his breath as he arrives. Here everything is different, not just the Scent but how the small village is built too.
