Damien POV
Hearing the words I already knew would send Ace into a frenzy. I was using all the willpower I had to stop him from taking control, but as soon as Jackson took Dr. Monroe out he won and took over. All of the men in my family for centuries had a hard time controlling their wolves. Each time their wolf took over, the stronger they got until their wolf took complete control over their human counterpart's body. The human counterpart for forced to watch and never be able to regain control. Some of them were fair to the pack but others were ruthless. That's why when a new beta and alpha take over a pact is made between the two, if the wolf takes complete control and is out of control the wolf is to be killed.

Jackson POV A week has passed and Rose still hasn't woken up. The IV fluids have helped flush the high amounts of wolfsbane and mercury in her system.
