He lifted my chin sending sparks down my jaw, and I opened my eyes which immediately locked into his. He leant into my face and hovered a few inches away, his breath passing over my lips as his voice pierced me, stern and monotone.
"You will beg me for it little mate," he paused and his face tensed, “as soon as you let go of your little play thing.”
“My plaything?” My eyebrows furrowed and I looked at him in confusion, my eyes narrowing and searching in his own. His face was much too close to mine still, it was hard enough to keep Echo at bay when he was across the room.

I snapped around to face whoever it was, part of me was scared it would be Kallan, and the other part of me hoped it would be.There sat Eathen. His face was indifferent as he sat there looking at me, and I was lost for words as I stared back at him.
