DANTE
“We have a problem, Alpha,” Delta Greg said grimly, glancing around the table at the other members of the council.
“What sort of problem?”
I sank into my chair, noticing Dominic staring into space beside me. He looked thinner than usual and disinterested in the conversation, his fingers stroking his stubbly jawline idly.
“A pack of wolves are attacking humans,” Vex said with a grimace.
“Attacking them how?” I frowned.
“Well,” Vex placed a map on the table, using a bright red pen to highlight the areas. “The first kidnapping was here. A young girl, seventeen years old, went missing after cheerleading practice.”
The pen squeaked as he drew an X in Los Angeles, California.
“Right, that’s not our territory,” I pointed out as Vex sighed, moving his pen north.
