Chapter Five
Kinsley stood in the library, muttering over a few books and frowning as she read a few sentences of one and looked again at a different text, a frustrated huff leaving her as she took her long hair out of her ponytail and angrily ran her fingers through her hair, grunting as her fingers snagged on some tangles. She paced in front of the long table, muttering under her breath as she re-tied her hair securely on the top of her head before resting her hands on her hips as she paced.
“Gods, this makes no sense. I can’t find the damn thing in any of these texts. That should not be possible.” she swore angrily under her breath and flopped into the chair with a defeated sigh. “What’s the use of having the best reference library around when you can’t actually find what you're looking for?!”
“Whoa, what’s gotten you so pissed off?” A voice inquired from the steps lea

Kinsley left work with her bag in tow and headed to the parking lot behind the building. It was later in the morning, almost noon and the day was bright and sunny, warm with a cool breeze. Hello Everyone I'm not sure if anyone even reads this story but unfortunately, I will be putting this one on hiatus until my The Moon and Sun Series is finished. I do intend to finish it as it's a story I very much want to share with people but it's not a priority right now. Sorry to anyone who reads it and sees this as I know how disappointing this can be as a reader. Kinsley walked beside Deidra as the two ventured closer to the trees bordering Deidra’s land. The forest was heavy and dense, with hardly any sunlight peeking through the trees. The clearing Diedra had her property in was startlingly bright in comparison to the constant twilight that the surrounding trees lived in. Kinsley knew without a doubt that stepping into those trees was a one-way trip. She’d never be able to find her way out if she so much as stepped inside their shadowed cover. Kinsley paced in the lab, chewing her thumbnail and watching Weaver in concern. They sat looking over the pictures and all the notes Kinsley had taken during her meeting with Deidra in Danu Forest. Their face was dark and stormy, the energy coming off of them was full of turmoil, apprehension, and the one that made Kinsley sick with dread, and fear. If Weaver was scared then whatever was in Danu forest was very very bad indeed. “So what are we looking at Weaver?” Sawyer asked from his spot on the stairs.
