Chapter Ten

“By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.” Kinsley muttered to herself as she drove down the access road that would take her to the client's home, the forest already heavy and thick around her. 

She sighed and quickly glanced at the GPS, making sure she was going in the right direction. The last thing she wanted to do was get lost in this place. Her grip on the steering wheel tightened as the road in front of her widened and curved into a large driveway, leading her to stop in front of a surprisingly large farmhouse. 

It was 2 stories with a large wrap-around porch and white siding. The screen door was open and a small petite woman was standing in the doorway watching as Kinsley’s car rolled to a stop.
