Alpha Doyle
I watched as Lena made her way into the bathroom, dragging her suitcase behind her. Without glancing at me, she quietly closed the door. I waited a moment or two before I grabbed a change of clothes and made my way downstairs to one of the main bathrooms on the second floor. Taking a quick shower and getting dressed, I dropped my wet clothes in the laundry before I made my way back upstairs to my bedroom. The bathroom door was still closed, and I could hear the shower still running. Taking a seat on the edge of my bed, I waited for Lena to finish her shower. I knew she was going to take a while. She would be taking the time to enjoy the warmth of the water after being out in the icy rain for so long. I knew she would never admit it to me, but she had been freezing out there. I just hoped she didn’t end up getting sick from being out in the cold for so long.
As I waited for her to finish up in the bathroom, I thought over what she had told me out there by
Hello readers! If you have made it this far, thank you for sticking with me! I appreciate it! If you like my story, please let me know! I love hearing from you! So question time! What do you think of Alpha Doyle so far? Do you think he will betray Storm's trust in him, and tell someone her secret?
Storm Seeing me step back away from him, Alpha Doyle looked as though he was hurt by my reaction. Seeing the hurt look on his face left me feeling lousy. I didn’t want to hurt him, that hadn’t been my intention. Great, now I was panicking, freezing, and feeling guilty. Nice combo! Boy, I was becoming certifiable! “What Lake is that?” I asked, pointing at the body of water. I could tell my question had caught him by surprise. “Loughainwillin,” he replied, throwing a quick glance at the body of water. I just nodded at his answer as I looked at the body of water. “So, why did you run?” he asked again, looking at me and awaiting an answer. “Because I know what Alphas do to rogues,” I stated quietly, as I avoided looking at him. “You just assumed we were the same as other packs?” he asked. “Are you going to try to tell me you never once considered killing me when you found out that a rogue was on your territory and li
Storm Without saying a word, he walked towards me, watching me carefully as he slowly made his way towards me. I watched him warily, wanting to run for my life but determined to stand my ground. The look in his eyes told me he was aware of my internal battle. He walked up to me and took me into his arms, holding me against him. I stood there frozen in his arms, my body shaking from cold and fear. After a while I rested my head on his chest, seeking the warmth of his embrace and finding an odd sense of comfort in the sound of his heartbeat. After a moment of debating with myself on whether I should reciprocate. I wrapped my arms around him holding him. A foreign feeling of safety and security wrapping itself around me. “Tell me what’s wrong,” he whispered, resting his chin on the top of my head. “I can’t. I can’t be honest with you. I can’t tell you who I am. Because if I do, I will put not just myself, but you and your family in danger,” I whispered. “Why do
Alpha Doyle Eighteen. She was eighteen. She was younger than my daughters and if my assumptions about her were correct, she had already lived through more than my daughters could ever imagine. Standing there before her, I realized, she had an internal strength that she wasn’t able to see for herself yet, a strength she had acquired from everything that she had been through. As I looked at her my earlier thoughts came back to haunt me. I had planned to take this life merely because she bore the title of rogue. Once more the guilt ate at me. I had condemned her and sentenced her to death because of a title. I had to make it up to her. I had to ensure that from here on out, her life was going to be better than it had ever been. I also swore that I was going to be better too! She deserved it! Storm I don’t know how much time had passed, but we were now making our way back to the house. Walking back through the rain, I f
Storm Once we had gotten inside, Alpha Doyle led me upstairs to the third floor which was the Alphas private quarters within the residence and showed me through to his bedroom. As we were making our way upstairs, he informed me that only a select few members of his staff had access to the third floor and his private residence. I followed him into his bedroom, and the moment I entered the room, I was surprised by the room’s interior. The size of the room itself astonished me; it was huge. It was easily three times the size of my bedroom back home! There were black floor-length curtains running the full length of the wall that I was facing as I stood there in the doorway taking in my surroundings. There was a king-sized solid timber bed with two solid timber bedside tables on either side of it. The room had a large black leather lounge suite against the wall on the right-hand side of the room, and on the left-hand side of the room, there were three doors. One leading i
Storm After I had finished washing myself, I stood under the hot water just enjoying the warmth of the water flowing over my skin, after having been out in the icy rain for so long. I hoped that I didn’t end up getting sick from being out in the rain and crisp air for so long. When I had finished getting myself warmed up, I turned the shower off and climbed out of the shower cubicle. Once I had gotten out of the shower cubicle, I wrapped a thick bath sheet around myself before I began rummaging through my suitcase for some dry clothes. Once I had gotten the clothing I would be needing out of my suitcase, I started to get dressed. I pulled on my underwear, then a pair of black yoga pants, and a purple and black zip-up hoodie. I brushed my wet hair, hoping that it wouldn’t take too long to dry, because I didn’t have a hair dryer with me. I sprayed some deodorant on before dabbing two drops of my favourite perfume on my neck. Once I had finished making myself huma
Storm I struggled to hold myself together as we made our way downstairs. On the way downstairs we stopped in at the laundry which was on the second floor. A housekeeper whom I learned was named Mary took the wet clothes from Alpha Doyle and put them into the washing machine. When we left the laundry, we made our way back downstairs to the living room where Julie, Leah and Lilly were all seated on a lounge, talking to a group of people which included the Beta. The moment we walked into the living room, the Beta stood up and walked towards us. I stopped in my tracks as he approached us. Sensing my unease, Alpha Doyle let go of my arm and ran his hand across my back, which caused me to nearly jump out of my skin. The Beta was looking surprised by my reaction when he stopped in front of me, but he didn’t say anything about it. Instead, he said, “Luna Lena, I would just like to apologise for what happened out by the lake. I can assure you that it will never happen again.”
Alpha Doyle I watched as Lena silently made her way into the bathroom, dragging her suitcase behind her. Without glancing at me, she quietly closed the door. I waited a moment or two before I grabbed a change of clothes out of my wardrobe and made my way downstairs to one of the main bathrooms located on the second floor. Alpha Doyle In the werewolf world, Alpha males needed a Luna. When you have an Alpha, who has his Luna at his side, you have two souls which work together in harmony, resulting in men who are strong, but kind. Confident, but humble, assertive, but gentle and powerful, and tempered and calm. Alphas are natural born leaders. For the survival of their pack, Alphas accept high levels of responsibility and make tough decisions every day that most rational people would end up finding overwhelming. But our strengths and dominant personalities can usually make Alphas difficult to work with and hard to be around for long periods of time. That is where Lunas are invaluable. They keep Alphas balanced and calm, helping them to remain approachable and sensitive to the needs and plights of others. When an Alpha loses a Luna, he can end up losing a part of himself, resulting in that Alpha becoming a dark and angry tyrant. Fortunately, that hadn’t happened to me when I had l
